My name is Jalal. A citizen and resident of the Kingdom of Bahrain (also a citizen and resident of the Internet). I am into digital media and particularly interested in user interfaces. I update this personal portfolio to showcase the work I'm proud of. I can't -with a clear conscience- slap a professional-sounding title next to my name because I'm always learning by standing on the shoulders of giants. So I will say that I am a computers hobbyist. It's liberating... I flew to Australia for grad school. I was a full-time student at the University of Technology, Sydney where I majored in Interactive Multimedia. I was your stereotypical nerd. I made it to the Dean's List after the first semester and received an achievement scholarship for international postgraduate students... I worked in Riyadh as a business analyst at Mobily (the second largest mobile operator in Saudi Arabia). The contrast between Sydney and Riyadh was -to say the least- sharp.
