Dean Anderson, RME: Dean Anderson was born and raised in the Coachella Valley by Tom and Marge Anderson, who brought him into the pool business at a young age in the 1970s. Since then, Dean has spent his career in the valley working for HOAMS pools, as well as his own company, Anson Co., which he established in 1991. Anson Co. steadily became one of the valley's premier pool construction and maintenance companies. Upon establishing a decade-long and trusted working relationship with Wally Norris, Dean chose to close Anson Co. in 2014 and partner up with Mr. Norris as his RME for the newly formed A & N Pools, Inc. With over 40 years' experience in the trade, Dean brings an incomparable and vast level of knowledge and skill to the company and our clients.
James "Wally" Norris, President and CEO: Wally Norris began his extensive study of the pool building and maintenance trade as a teenager in the early 90s working for his brother in San Diego on pebble finishes and remodels. Following Wally high school, began working full time in the trade, honing his skills in repairs, maintenance, construction, and pool finishes in both San Diego and Orange county before discovering the Coachella Valley. Immediately falling in love with this beautiful valley, Wally began working for Dean Anderson's company, Anson Co., in 2003; and in 2014 established A & N Pools, Inc. with Dean Anderson as his RME. Leonardo "Tom" Anderson, father of Dean Anderson and grandfather-in-law of James "Wally" Norris, began working for Reg C Jones in Palm Springs as a nozzle man on the gunite crew following his return from serving in WWII. During his time at the company, Tom worked on both the Shadow Mountain Club pool, as well as the power house expansion at Hoover Dam.
