Aviko was founded by 32 potato growers in 1962 and has since grown to become a global player. In 2002, Aviko became part of Royal Cosun), a future-oriented and leading agricultural cooperative with approximately 11,000 growers... Aviko is proud to be part of Dutch parent company Cosun, a cooperative for plant-based foods, ingredients for animal feed, circular fodder, bio-based solutions and green energy. Together, we are taking the lead in showing everyone the limitless possibilities for plant-based food, plant-based products and plant-based energy... Our story began in 1962 in Hoog-Keppel, with 32 potato farmers joining forces to make chilled fries. Ten years later, we moved to a large factory in Steenderen, nine kilometres away. Soon our potato products found their way to other countries in Europe. Today, we bring joy to tables all over the world.
