Dr. Andrea Gilford Johnson

Doctor Andrea Gilford Johnson is one of the most experienced doctors in Bermuda and has been practicing in the field of general medicine for over 17 years. She graduated from the University of Guyana in November 2000 with a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery Degree (MBBS). She also received a Diploma in Medical Technology, with distinction, specializing in Hematology. Her clinical interests focus on community and preventative medicine.

Dr. Arlene Basden

Dr. Arlene Basden is the Medical Director of BMSG and one of the most respected doctors in Bermuda. She received her undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia and her Medical Degree from the University of the West Indies in St Augustine, Trinidad. She completed her residency training in the United Kingdom at Morecambe Bay Hospitals NHS Trust and Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. Dr. Basden was awarded membership to the Royal College of Physicians in 2004 and is the 2nd Bermudian to become a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in 2014.

Dr. Diana Apetauerova

Dr. Diana Apetauerova attended Medical Faculty of Charles University, Prague. She then completed a neurophysiology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, followed by neurology residency and movement disorders fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Dr. Apetauerova joined Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in 2002 as the Director of the Movement Disorders Program which provides outstanding care to complex patients via a multidisciplinary approach, including deep brain stimulation surgery, a day clinic program for Parkinson's disease, and a botulinum clinic for dystonia.

Dr. Dinamarie C. Garcia-Banigan

Dr Garcia-Banigan is a leading medical professional in Endocrinology and holds the position of Co-Director in the Center for Sexual and Reproductive Health at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center. She also completed a residency and chief residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Endocrinology at Lahey Clinic. She received her Medical Degree from Morehouse School of Medicine and earned a Master's Degree in Public Health with a focus in Behavioral Science and Health Education at Emory University. Dr. Garcia-Banigan graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pre- Professional Studies and Theology.

Dr. Michael Levy

Originally from Canada, he attended medical school at Queen's University School of Medicine, completed his internal medicine residency at University of British Columbia and cardiology fellowships at McMaster University. He then attended Brigham and Women's Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center for advanced training in vascular medicine and endovascular intervention. He joined Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in 2013 as Chief of Vascular Medicine and specializes in the medical and interventional treatment of patients with blood vessel disorders.

Dr. Nicholas Kane
