Amy is a natural resource specialist with 14 years of experience who has participated in a diverse number of management and research projects throughout Colorado, New Mexico and Washington. She is skilled in various vegetation sampling techniques for biomass, cover, density and frequency. Focal areas include plant identification, vegetation assessment, rangeland and noxious weed management, threatened and endangered species surveys, riparian management, ecosystem management and conservation planning.
In addition to conducting botanical surveys and developing rangeland management prescriptions for Blue Mountain, she has worked as a research assistant for the Restoration Ecology Laboratory at Colorado State University. Amy has a B.S. in Rangeland Ecology and Restoration from Colorado State University and is a member of the Colorado Native Plant Society.
Anna owns Four Corners Mapping & GIS. With nearly ten years of experience in GIS, her cartography and graphic design have won multiple awards, including at the Mapping the Grand Canyon Conference, the Arizona Geographic Information Council Symposium, and GIS in the Rockies. She is on the board of GIS Colorado, runs the Durango GIS Group, and is also a licensed Professional Geologist.
Brett brings expertise in stakeholder communication and coordination during all stages of wildfire planning and response. He has served as a fire chief at local, state, and federal agencies to help craft a post-fire recovery plan in the Fourmile Canyon burn area. He has also participated in the writing, and is a signatory, of two Community Wildfire Protection Plans (CWPP) that included Boulder County's CWPP.
He is Chair of the Boulder County Fire Code Review Committee and a Wildfire Consultant with the Nationally recognized Wildfire Partners program in Boulder, working on individual and landscape mitigation projects in Boulder County. He has a doctorate is in Psychology and Statistics from the University of Colorado Boulder.
After graduating with a B.S. Degree in Forest Management and two years in the Peace Corp s, Craig moved to Boulder Colorado in 1978. He spent 28 years with the Colorado State Forest Service (CSU). He then ran his own forestry consulting business for eight years before moving to California to conduct wildfire mitigation and forestry work for the National Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) and the Sierra Resource Conservation District. He has worked with Boulder County's Wildfire Partners Program for four of its eight years. Craig loves "everything outdoors" and is a singer/songwriter guitar player.
Craig is an ecologist with 29 years of experience in landscape analysis in Colorado and the western United States. He has a broad understanding of the ecology of riparian, wetland, and upland communities as well as a working knowledge of state and federal laws including NEPA, the Clean Water Act and others.
His experience includes plant, vertebrate, and invertebrate communities that western landscapes support. He has performed wetland delineations and designed, managed construction of, and monitored numerous wetland creation/restoration projects as well as conducted studies related to restoration and grazing in upland areas. Craig has also conducted surveys for state and federal sensitive plant and animal species for numerous environmental impact statements and environmental assessments.
Leslie has extensive experience in wildfire education and outreach. She spent 17 years working as a Park Ranger in the National Park Service (most recently with Rocky Mountain National Par k) focused on environmental education. She also served as a Type 2 wildland firefighter during her time with the NPS.
Prior to joining Blue Mountain, she worked with Boulder County as the Program and Outreach Specialist for Wildfire Partner s. Her special areas of expertise including managing content for websites (including blogging), coordinating digital marketing, and providing wildfire advising to both organizations and private property owners. She assists local organizations with building a wildfire mitigation program and is certified as a Wildfire Mitigation Specialist through NFPA.
Mackenzie Bosher has more than five years of professional GIS experience with involving land use planning processes, conservation, hazard mitigation, floodplain mapping and environmental remediation. Mackenzie draws upon her background in the geospatial sciences and natural resource planning to guide the development of tools, spatial analyses, static maps and web maps.
In her work with The Wilderness Society, she has provided spatial analyses and maps to highlight conservation issues. Mackenzie has a Bachelor of Science degree in geography from the University of Colorado with a major in geography and minor in geology. Mackenzie is proficient with ESRI ArcGIS software, Microsoft office and a variety of other software platforms.

Matt is a natural resource manager with more than 30 years' experience providing professional and technical guidance, regulatory compliance and management recommendations on large, complex and diverse resource management projects encompassing more than 300,000 acres of public and private land. Matt is adept at integrating diverse natural resource disciplines into cohesive management plans that address client goals.
His experience includes forestry, fuels management, wildfire mitigation, watershed and riparian assessments, wetland delineations and permitting, ecological inventory, monitoring and restoration, noxious weed inventory and management, threatened and endangered species assessments, sedimentation and erosion control. Matt is skilled in strategic planning, project management, client relations, report development and collaborative planning to lead projects from inception to completion with exceptional results. He has demonstrated success working with multidisciplinary teams, public agencies, consulting groups, advisory committees, landowners and diverse stakeholders. Matt was raised on a New York dairy farm and moved to Colorado in 1998 to advance his interests in natural resource management.
Matt Holds a Master's Degree in Ecosystem Science form Colorado State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Resource management and Forestry from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. He is a Certified Forester with the Society of American Foresters, Wildfire Mitigation Specialist with the National Fire Protection Association, Certified Ecologist with the Ecological Society of America, and Erosion Control Supervisor with Colorado Department of Transportatio n.
He has also completed appropriate training pertaining to forest restoration, wildland fire suppression, assessing hazards in the home ignition zone, wetland delineation and management, riparian functional evaluation, geomorphology, Phase 1 Environmental Assessments, hazardous materials remediation, ecological restoration, NEPA documentation, soil nutrient management, sedimentation and erosion, noxious weed management, recreational management, natural resource interpretation and other topics. - Conservation Land - Use Specialist
Pam has been involved in environmental land planning for more than 25 years and is committed to advancing strategic initiatives that cross pollinate public and private interests in conserving natural resources. She has served as the managing vice president for the in-house planningdivision of a major mixed-use developer in the Baltimore-Washington, DC corridor.
As a conservation land-use consultant in Georgia and Colorado, Pam has provided conservation program development and management services to landowners, developers, planning consultants and non-profit conservation organizations within the context of landscape-scale conservation goals.
Sheila is a naturalist and avid birder. She has led school groups in environmental education activities with the Chatfield Farms of the Denver Botanic Gardens as well as the City of Fort Collins. As a natural leader, she embraced serving as the education chair for the Fort Collins Audubon Society for the past two years.
Teaching about the natural world is her lifelong passion, and she is excited to continue expanding this love into her career in addition to her past and present volunteer work. When she isn't behind a pair of binoculars in a natural area, you may find her at the sewing machine or playing with watercolors.
