Aishah acts as the office administrator, providing assistance to the team wherever needed. She handles all kinds of business-related tasks from marketing to bookkeeping. Her organizational skills and friendly demeanor help to keep the office running smoothly. Outside of the office, Aishah enjoys plants, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her puppy.
Since graduating in 2019 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Ali has worked with Burman Design in designing mechanical systems across many market sectors including restaurants, churches, medical offices, and swimming pools. Ali is creative and a problem solver, making him a great addition to the team. He has learned all about CONTAM analysis, a program the simulates smoke control requirements in stair towers and elevator shafts. He is a big sports fan, spending his time outside the office playing volleyball or tennis, and watching basketball. Go Lakers!

As president, principal engineer, and founder of Burman Design, Linda manages the office with passion and purpose. With years of experience across many market sectors including restaurants, multifamily, schools and offices, Linda leads the design team, and enjoys sharing her knowledge with younger engineers and others looking for opportunities to get started in their careers. She also handles day to day business operations and development with support from the administrative team. Outside of the office, Linda acts as the West Coast Representative for the Women of ASPE and mentors students in the ACE program. She enjoys golfing, gardening, home improvement, and time spent outside hiking or walking the waterfront.
The newest member of the BD team, Saif is ambitious and helpful, working every day to improve life in the workplace. Along with mechanical design , site visits and drawing equipment details , Saif is fluent in both English and Arabic, assisting with translating and creating marketing materials. In his free time, he enjoys camping, riding his motorcycle, and playing the oud.
With over 42 years of mechanical engineering experience, Terry's wide array of experience includes projects across many market sectors including multifamily, educational facilities, churches and commercial projects. He is involved in every phase of the project from design to construction administration. Outside of the office, Terry enjoys fishing with his family, home renovation, and traveling to Hawaii and Mexico.
Since starting off at Burman Design in 2018, Trevor has designed mechanical systems for countless projects ranging from schools to commercial storage. He also provides CAD drafting services and acts as the office IT manager. Trevor is committed to excellence and is a daily problem solver. Recently, he set up our network on Microsoft's cloud platform to facilitate remote working and streamline our communication tools. Outside of the office, he enjoys reading, board games, 3D modeling and small-scale machining.
