Late 2016, I decided to take the leap and share my creations with the social world and Cakes by Claire was established. I never thought I would pursue a career in baking, until we had our daughter early 2018, I felt the need to consume the time I had left from being a mum into my cake and cupcake creations. I then realised people had an appreciation in my creations... Always eager to give things a go, I started baking after seeing my sister construct a beautiful cake (Sweet as Candi). I felt a flare inside me and wanted to give it a go. After creating a few cakes for family birthdays, I started getting asked to do more and more... Every occasion needs cake!
