Dr. Caitlin Fiss

Dr. Fiss earned her medical degree from Brown University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City. After graduation, she joined the faculty of the Weill Cornell School of Medicine and began her private practice. She returned to Mount Sinai in 2006 and has been in private practice since that time. Dr. Fiss is board certified by the American Board of Ob/Gyn. She is a Diplomate of the American College of OB/Gyn. Dr. Fiss's areas of clinical expertise include adolescent and young adult medicine, family planning, cervical dysplasia, and the management of pregnancy. In November 2013, Dr. Fiss travelled to Northern Ghana with The Virtue Foundation. She provided gynecological care to hundreds of women, lectured to health care providers there, and performed Gynecological surgery. Dr. Fiss lives in NYC with her husband and two daughters. Dr. Fiss believes she has the best two jobs in the world: being an obstetrician and a mom. Dr. Fiss and her staff are so warm and knowledgable and I will be forever grateful to them for guiding me through a prepared, relaxed pregnancy. - Olivia Wilde

Dr. Catherine Goodstein

Dr. Catherine Goodstein received her B.A. from Stanford University, graduating with honors. She obtained her M.D. from New York University, where she was awarded the Best Medical Student in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She completed her Ob/Gyn residency at the Mount Sinai Hospital where she received the award for the Best Resident Research project. Board certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, she has been in practice since 2000. Dr. Goodstein works with a broad range of patients, from adolescents through post-menopausal women, and has developed an expertise in the management of abnormal pap smears, family planning, and irregular bleeding. She has cultivated a following of patients who appreciate her ability to connect with them in a down-to-earth, yet informed manner. Dr. Goodstein enjoys all aspects of her work, from a young patient's first ever gynecologic visit to the honor of helping a woman through pregnancy, childbirth, and beyond. She has delivered countless numbers of babies, but gets as excited for each delivery as she did for her first. She truly loves spending time to get to know her patients as individuals, and believes that a doctor-patient relationship built on discretion and respect creates a sense of trust that strengthens the quality of care. Dr. Goodstein is married and lives in NYC with her husband and two children. She serves on the board of the Horace Mann School, where her children attend.

Dr. Gabrielle Sandler

Dr. Sandler received her medical degree from NYU Langone Medical Center, where she was awarded the Frederick C. Holden Award for Excellence in Obstetrics and Gynecology. After graduation, Dr. Sandler remained at NYU to complete her Ob/Gyn residency, where she was selected as the Administrative Chief Resident and was awarded the Robert F. Porges Award for Excellence in Teaching, Research, and Patient Care. Dr. Sandler then joined NYU as a full-time Clinical Assistant Professor, during which time she was awarded the Gordon W. Douglas Faculty Teaching Award. Dr. Sandler is board certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Sandler works with a diverse range of patients and has expertise in high-risk obstetrics, adolescent and young adult gynecology, and family planning, infertility, and contraception. Dr. Sandler has also worked with medically underserved patients at Bellevue Hospital. In 2013, she traveled to India to provide medical care to residents of remote villages. Dr. Sandler is also on the medical leadership team of Allara, a medical start-up company focusing on polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Dr. Sandler received her B.A. from Emory University, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa. Dr. Sandler lives in Greenpoint, and when she's not practicing medicine, you can find her hiking, traveling, and exploring Brooklyn's best restaurants.

Dr. Laura Schiller

Dr. Schiller graduated from Weill Cornell Medical College, following which, she completed her residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. She then joined Fifth Avenue Ob/Gyn and became a voluntary attending at Mt. Sinai Hospital. She is board certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her areas of expertise include adolescent gynecology, contraception, management of cervical dysplasia, infertility and general and high risk obstetrics. Dr. Schiller has been actively involved and serves on the Board of Directors of Basic Health International, a nonprofit organization working to eradicate cervical cancer in the developing world. Through this affiliation, she has travelled to El Salvador to train health care providers in screening and treating cervical dysplasia. Dr Schiller also works with LitWorld, a nonprofit group that promotes literacy in vulnerable populations worldwide. Dr. Schiller lives in NYC with her husband and twin daughters. Dr. Schiller knows everything about women's health and is a wonderfully reassuring doctor to see when you are pregnant (or wanting to be). - Gwyneth Paltrow
