Dr. Becky Rudd, the CEO and Clinical Director of Center for Solace, envisioned a counseling center that was staffed by the highest-quality, most theoretically sound, relationship-focused therapists who possessed an innate desire for a lifetime of learning. She knew the one-size-fits-all generalist training approach to mental health was wholly inadequate and, in time of evidence-based practices, wanted to work with therapists who were inherently passionate about specialized training, supervised experience and mastery of evidence-based practices. Clients can rest easy knowing therapists chosen to join Center for Solace have met rigorous qualifications, receive ongoing consultation by specialists and put the therapeutic relationship in the center of all we do.

Katelynn Harmon

Katelynn Harmon (ages 11-young adult): Katelynn's bubbly and extroverted personality lends itself to working with the teen and young adult population. She makes her sessions both fun and useful to support her client's on their journey. Katelynn has a special interest in working with members of the LGBTQ+ community. Katelynn earned a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Ozark Christian College in 2017. She earned a Master of Social Work in 2021 from Walden University. Katelynn is a master's level social worker and licensed in the State of Washington as a Social Worker Associate Independent Clinical (SWAIC) (SC61213722). Katelynn is being supervised by Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, Audra Stillions (LW60994586) and Leah Parker MS, LMHC (LH60767353). Katelynn uses a Cognitive Behavioral theoretical approach to working with her clients. She helps her clients change by empowering them to recognize unhelpful or negative thoughts and replace these with ones more constructive. Katelynn provides education on the brain and useful strategies to gain control over unwanted intense feelings or thoughts.

Katrina Bishop: Katrina is trained in family systems and incorporates the family into the work with her child and teen clients. Her gentle and compassionate approach is sure to make her clients feel at ease and open to coming back. Katrina Bishop: Katrina is an excellent therapist for someone who wants to deeply understand themselves and finds meaning in revisiting the various traumas or events that have impacted their life. She works with her clients to find new ways of incorporating these past events into their life story in a healthy way. Katrina Bishop: Katrina's way-of-being immediately puts couples at ease. She uses systems theory with Emotionally-Focused Couple therapy to help her couples identify attachment wounds and heal the hurt and anger that contributed to the current state of the relationship.

Paige Hopkins: Paige provides a calm and compassionate presence for her clients. She spends time understanding her client's needs and selecting a strategy that is most in-line wit her client's needs. Paige Hopkins: Paige is trained as a Marriage and Family Therapist and has an approach that is compassionate, patient and hopeful. She holds hope when her couple's may be struggling to find it. She uses Gottman Method Couples Therapy.

Ricky Sullivan-Hurt (ages 11- early adulthood): Ricky's passion and experience working with teens for diverse backgrounds makes him a great fit for a variety of common issues faced by teenagers. Sienna works with families and couples experiencing ideological difference in their family. She also works with Adolescents part of the LGBTQ+ Community.

Uniq Metcalfe (Children and Adults): Uniq enjoys working with children and adolescents who are struggling with a number of common concerns from anxiety through depression. Uniq takes special care to develop a trusting relationship with your child or teen and work with them to find solutions to improve what gets in their way.
