Started with Cobalt in December 2012. Prior to working at Cobalt Civil, I had 5 years of experience with customer service and accounting in the banking industry. Outside of work I enjoy golfing and spending time with my family.

Graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship in 2012. While finishing up my degree I joined the Cobalt team (formerly Culy Construction) in 2011 as a laborer. After receiving my degree, I continued to work in the field moving up from a laborer, to a crew lead, then to supervisor to gain as much experience as I could before moving into a Project Management role. Prior to working at Cobalt Civil, I had 3 years' experience in retail which taught me a lot about customer service. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and spending time outdoors (hunting, fishing, and off-roading).

Graduated from Purdue University in 2014 with an Associate of Science - Information Systems. Joined the Cobalt Civil family in January of 2020 as the Human Resource & Information Technology Director. Prior to working at Cobalt Civil I worked as a Systems Analyst for 9 years in the steel manufacturing/recycling industry. Prior to the IT world, I was in Customer Service Management for 4 years. When I am not at work, I enjoy being outdoors and spending time with friends and family.
Over 31 years' experience in Civil Construction including earth work, water & sewer, environmental, civil substation, overhead transmission, underground transmission, piers and R/W access. Started out in the field working as a laborer on a pipe crew then worked my way up to a supervisor. I spent over 10 years working as a PM, Estimator, and in Business Development. Also spent over 6 years as President with sales over 45 million and 200 + employees.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with over 30 years' experience in multiple accounting roles. Mark is a graduate of Ball State University and started his career working for Westinghouse Electric Corporation in the electrical industry as a cost accountant. Over the course of his career, he has been engaged in developing and leading high-performance work teams to improve / increase operational performance in the accounting and "back office" functions. Mark is proud to have worked with several fortune 500 companies over the course of his career and in 2012 he joined Culy Construction as their CFO / Equity Owner and was able to facilitate significant growth of the company from 2012 through 2015. In 2015, Culy was acquired by PowerTeam Services (PTS) and Mark continued in his role as CFO of Culy until 2017, when he left the company. In 2019, Mark was part of a team that purchased Cobalt Civil (Culy was renamed by PTS to Cobalt Civil) back from PTS and currently serves as Director of Cobalt Civil.
Rick has been with Cobalt Civil for more than 20 years and is a member of the Cobalt Ownership Group.
