Diane Rosen

Diane is an author, practicing lawyer, mediator, and coach with experience in the private, nonprofit and public sectors. In addition to her role as a principal of Compass Consultants, she has been Of Counsel to Ortoli Rosenstadt LLP since 2013. Formerly of Weil Gotshal & Manges; Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom and Alter & Rosen LLP, Diane specializes in real estate and corporate transactions, non-profit governance and US copyright law. Diane is the author of The Grownups Guide: Living with Kids in Manhattan (1998, 2003) and The Grownups Guide: Visiting New York City with Kids (2003). She was the Founding Vice President of Girls Learn International, a non-profit organization that works to combat the global crisis in girls' education. Diane serves on the board of Planned Parenthood NYC; the Cornell University Council, the ILR School Dean's Advisory Council, the President's Council of Cornell Women and the Cornell Council on Sexual Violence; the New York French American Charter School (term ended December 2016); and the advisory boards of the Scheinman Institute on Conflict Resolution and the Mt. Sinai Adolescent Health Center (term ended December 2018). She previously served on the Borough of Manhattan Community Board 8. Laurie Lyte

Laurie Lyte is a lawyer, coach, and training professional with experience in both the public and private sectors. In addition to her role as a principal of Compass Consultants, she has served as a director of professional development and planning for a large state agency. Laurie's public sector law practice was focused on complex litigation and government contracts; in private practice, she specialized in professional liability defense litigation. Laurie has experience in government procurement having served as a procurement analyst for the U.S. Army and as an attorney representing several state agencies in the procurement process. Laurie has worked with organizations and individual clients to develop their strengths and find their professional niche; improve their organizational performance through a strengths-based approach; plan and manage growth and change; and create effective teams. She has experience in individual and team coaching, developing curricula and facilitating group sessions on topics such as leadership, management, negotiation and conflict resolution, stress management, change management, resiliency, and legal practice skills. Laurie holds a Graduate Certificate in Executive and Professional Coaching from the University of Texas at Dallas. She is a Myers Briggs Type Indicator Step I and Step II Certified Practitioner. She is also a member of the International Coaching Federation, holding a PCC certification.
