James Grace - Managing Director

Managing Director James Grace has over 30 years experience as an advisor, finance director, non-executive director and in-house corporate development. His career began at Price Waterhouse in 1980 before moving into investment banking in 1984. From 1990 to 1995, James ran his own consultancy business, Grace & Co, and undertook a number of transactions as an advisor, a CEO and a CFO. In 1995 he joined Investec's Investment Banking Corporate Finance team and helped to grow the business from 10 clients to over 100. James left Investec in in 2013 and founded Cortayne Commercial in 2015 after 18 months at Stifel James has been a finance director of UK Land plc and a non-executive director of two other PLCs: Novera Energy plc and Treatt plc. At Cortayne, James is supported by a team of experienced consultants all of whom are experienced at executing transactions, including natural resources transactions.
