Adam G. Price

Specifically, Mr. Price's patent infringement cases have focused on work in technical fields including camera-cell phone integration, Bluetooth and wireless communication protocols, data transfer protocols, digital rights management, data encryption and access control, internet search functionality and algorithms, software systems, mobile phones, image compression and transmittal, and computer hardware and peripherals. In addition to patent infringement cases, Mr. Price has substantial experience in cases involving trade secrets, trademark, unfair competition, and copyright. He also has extensive experience in commercial litigation, including business torts (including unfair competition, misappropriation, tortious interference with contracts and/or prospective business relationships, fraud, misrepresentation, breach of fiduciary duty and deceptive trade practices), commercial landlord-tenant disputes, employment disputes, complex real estate disputes and general breach of contract claims. He has served as lead counsel in numerous complex, high-stakes, patent litigation matters, including securing a jury verdict of infringement and no invalidity against Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. on patents relating to data transfer between smartphones and computers; successfully litigating patents relating to Bluetooth® wireless communication protocols against smartphone and integrated circuit manufacturers, resulting in over $40 million in royalties; and obtaining numerous favorable settlements against camera phone manufacturers on behalf of a communications hardware and software company. Mr. Donahue has successfully served as lead counsel in defending a multi-million dollar medical device manufacturer in a patent infringement lawsuit while also assisting in a parallel reexamination proceeding at the United States Patent and Trademark Office related to the patent-in-suit.
