Darla Walls graduated from the College of Charleston with a B.S. in Education and has lived in Mount Pleasant ever since. With 30 years of real estate transaction experience in Charleston, Darla makes the closing process as smooth as possible for our buyers and sellers.

Harleigh is a South Carolina native who graduated from the College of Charleston with a B.S. in Political Science. She is currently attending the Charleston School of Law, where she is the Editor-in-Chief of the Review Journal and director of the Expungement Project.
As our resident law clerk, she enjoys making the post-closing process easier for everyone, including our paralegals. When not at work, you'll find her downtown or at the beach with her pup!
Legrand joined the Donaldson Law Firm in October 2020 and assists with the firm's residential real estate practice.
Legrand regularly communicates with clients, realtors, and lenders, in addition to conducting real estate closings for buyers and sellers. Coworkers would describe him as personable and patient with exceptional problem-solving skills. He loves meeting new people and finds it most rewarding to see the smiles on people's faces when they step in and out of the office.
Legrand attended The Citadel from 2008 to 2012 and the University of South Carolina School of Law from 2017 to 2020. He was born in Mount Pleasant at the old East Cooper, raised in Summerville, and currently lives on James Island. Legrand is a member of the Charleston County and South Carolina Bar Associations.
Maggie is our newest addition to the firm and is a diligent, detail-oriented legal professional. She has been passionate about practicing real estate law since before she attended law school and has concentrated her experience accordingly.
Maggie grew up on Amelia Island and attended Florida State University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with cum laude distinction. After graduating, she worked in title claims at Fidelity National Financial before moving to Mount Pleasant on New Year's Eve 2019. Shortly thereafter, Maggie began classes at Charleston School of Law.
During law school, she was a member of the Real Estate Law Society and volunteered with The Center for Heirs' Property. Maggie clerked at a Summerville based firm focused on real estate transactions where she gained experience in all phases of the closing process. She has been a member of the Charleston County and South Carolina Bar Associations since 2022.
Morgan was born, raised, and currently lives in Charleston, South Carolina and is a graduate of the College of Charleston. Morgan communicates effectively with clients, realtors, and lenders throughout the closing process. Her organizational skills and attention to detail ensure that our clients have a stress free closing.
Rachel was born in Atlanta, Georgia and was raised in Charlotte, North Carolina where she became a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Since then, she has gained knowledge and experience in the real estate industry and portrays that in her work ethic every day. Outside of the office, she's all about Carolina Panthers football and spending time with her giant St. Bernard pup.
Rob Donalson has been a real estate lawyer for over 20 years and knows Mount Pleasant/Charleston real estate law like the back of his hand. Rob has lived in the Lowcountry his entire life, except for his college and law school years. Ask anyone in the office and they'll tell you he's friendly, funny, and has a contagious laugh (especially when you get him and his son Robert together).

Rob, our friendly founder spends most of his days conducting real estate closings and communicating with clients and real estate agents. Customer service is at the top of his priority list. As he describes, "We walk each client through his or her particular situation to anticipate their concerns, provide the best customer service and make sure they're comfortable while we work with them to handle their real estate needs."
Born and raised in Mount Pleasant, Rob has lived in the Lowcountry his entire life, with the exception of his college and law school years. Rob graduated from Clemson in 1981 and the South Carolina School of Law in 1997. Before enrolling in law school, he spent many years running the Carolina Nurseries, Inc. in Moncks Corner. Rob began his real estate practice in 1998 and founded the Donaldson Law Firm in 2008. Rob is an active member of St. Andrews Church in Mt. Pleasant and is a member of the South Carolina and Charleston County Bar Associations.
Today, Rob lives in Mount Pleasant with his wife, Margaret, and their dog, Abby.
Robert is the son of our founding attorney, Rob, and a partner at Donaldson Law Firm.
As one of the firm's attorneys, Robert's main role is to handle closings. He also oversees the management of the firm and spends time advising clients and real estate agents on certain aspects of their transactions.
As he explains, "It's wonderful to see the excitement of a first-time homebuyer. Many times we get to see them achieve one of their biggest dreams right in our office. It's also rewarding to interact with repeat clients as they buy and sell homes as their families grow."
Robert was born and raised in Charleston, and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History, with a minor in Government from Wofford College in 2011. He graduated from Charleston School of Law in 2014 and upon obtaining his Juris Doctor, he began practicing with his father at the Donaldson Law Firm.
Today, he lives in Mount Pleasant and is a member of the South Carolina and Charleston County Bar Associations.
Sherry was born and raised in Charleston and currently lives in Summerville, South Carolina. She began her legal career in 1980 and started working with Rob in 2005 when he was a partner with the Law Firm of Weeks, Manaker, and Donaldson, LLC. Sherry has a tireless work ethic and an extensive legal background, which makes her an invaluable asset to the team.
