Dr. Chad Savage

Dr. Chad Savage founded YourChoice Direct Care in 2015, one of the first Direct Primary Care (DPC) practices in the State of MI. He has been an active advocate of the DPC model of care, Free Markets in Medicine and Patient Empowerment at both the State and national level. He adopt ed the DPC model of care to focus on his patients' needs without worrying about meeting unproven requirements set by insurance companies and Medicare. Dr. Savage graduated from the University of Michigan prior to receiving his M.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. He completed his residency training at Washington University School of Medicine and Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO where he became skilled in the management of complex medical disorders. Dr. Savage has been in practice since 2003 and was involved in physician leadership through the St. John Providence hospital system prior to starting his DPC practice in 2015. He has written extensively with Op-Eds in regional and national publications such as The Hill, Investor's Business Daily, Real Clear Health, American Thinker and many others. He has also been featured in various news articles, radio shows and public speaking forums. Dr. Savage is a member of the Michigan State Medical Society Legislative Committee, is a Healthcare Policy Advisor for the Heartland Institute and Healthcare Policy Fellow at the Docs4Patient Care Foundation. He is an assistant professor at Wayne State university School of Medicine and is duel board certified in Internal Medicine from both the ABIM and NBPAS.

Josh Umbehr

Dr. Umbehr was born and raised in Alma, Kansas where he met his high school sweetheart, Lisa, while playing football at Manhattan High School and followed her to Kansas State University. While there, he majored in human nutritional sciences with a minor in biology. He graduated from The University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed his family medicine residency at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. After completing training and becoming a board certified Family Physician, he opened Atlas MD, a practice that he had been dreaming about for nearly a decade. Atlas MD represents his ideal medical practice where he is able to shrug off the burdens and restrictions of government and insurance regulation so he can focus solely on his patients and their needs. Dr. Josh and Lisa have three gorgeous children who keep them busy - Katelyn, Paige and Cole. Katelyn, their eldest, has Down Syndrome and they are blessed to have her in their lives. They have happily made supporting the Down Syndrome Society of Wichita a focus of theirs and the clinic's. He is a pioneer and national leader in Direct Primary Care. He is a frequently requested national speaker and consultant to local, state and federal lawmakers on health care delivery issues. He has been invited to testify before numerous state and federal government committees. He frequently works with medical students, having made the transition to DPC directly out of residency training. Dr. Josh and Atlas MD have consulted in the startup of hundreds of DPC practices around the nation. Atlas MD has become an industry leading DPC-supported electronic health record software platform.

Katarina Lindley

Dr. Katarina Lindley D.O. FACOFP is a family doctor and she was born in Split, Croatia and now resides in small town Texas with her husband who is also a physician, and five children. She did her undergraduate degree in Biology at Florida Atlantic University and then graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2004. She did her residency in family medicine in Florida and is Board Certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Lindley has practiced in Florida and Wisconsin before coming to Texas. She was the medical director of Rural Health Clinics in Mineral Wells Texas for 2 years before opening her direct primary care practice in Brock (Parker County) over a year ago. Dr. Lindley is the President Elect of Texas Chapter of American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and Member of the Board of Trustees for Texas Osteopathic Medical Association. She is very involved in legislative issues regarding health care and veteran care on federal and state level. Dr. Lindley is fluent in Croatian and Italian and speaks some Spanish as well. She loves watching her children play football and baseball, and loves watching college football esp Florida State Seminoles. She also loves playing the guitar and singing with the worship team at her church in Brock.

Kimberly Legg

Dr. Corba is a board-certified family physician and the owner of Green Hills Direct Family Care, the first and only Direct Primary Care physician in the Lehigh Valley area of Pennsylvania. She was born in Allentown, grew up in "The Valley," and after 13 years in Philadelphia, returned to the area with her family in 2001. Dr. Corba attended Muhlenberg College where she earned her B.S. in Biology/Natural Sciences in 1985. In 1993 she graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine where she also completed her residency in 1997. She is married to Dr. Robert Corba, PCOM '93, who is board-certified in both anesthesia and interventional pain management. He works at Orthopaedic Associates of Allentown. They have 2 children both of whom want to become physicians. In January 2016, Dr. Corba successfully transitioned her thirteen year-old, solo, independent, insurance-based office to DPC. She is an early innovator, champion and national leader for Independent Direct Primary Care. She has been a national speaker and has testified publicly at the state level on behalf of DPC. She has participated in numerous meetings about innovation in health care delivery with state and federal lawmakers and leaders of federal government agencies. Dr. Corba has written articles about DPC which have appeared in local, state and national publications. She has been a mentor to 3 rd year medical students for the past four years and has lectured about DPC in several PA medical schools to 1 st and 2 nd year students. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the USF/Morsani College of Medicine. In September of 2017, Dr. Corba published a digital download to help DPC practices with regulatory compliance titled The Manual of Policies and Procedures for Direct Primary Care and has given several webinars on the topic. She has special expertise in HIPAA compliance as a Certified HIPAA Compliance Officer (CHCO) and is currently working on an additional certification as an Officer of Healthcare Compliance

Lee S. Gross - Chairman

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Gross is a graduate of The Ohio State University and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He was elected chief resident of his family medicine residency program at University Hospitals of Cleveland. After years in private practice in Florida, he and his colleagues had an "epiphany" about an affordable health care solution, free of insurance and government intrusion. Now, a Direct Primary Care revolution is sweeping across the nation, providing access to health care for those who have been neglected by the system for decades. He serves as the president of the Docs 4 Patient Care Foundation, a national health policy think tank of practicing physicians committed to the establishment of an American health care economy which preserves the sanctity of the physician-patient relationship, promotes quality care, supports affordable access to care for all Americans and protects patient's personal health care decisions. Dr. Gross is a pioneer in the Direct Primary Care delivery model, frequently speaking at national meetings, conducting media interviews about free-market health care innovations and writing articles for national publications.
