Dr. Senait Dyson

Dr. Dyson is the Founder and Director of DysonDermatology, PLLC. She has been practicing dermatology for over 15 years and has extensive experience in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. As a board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Dyson is qualified to give her patients the highest level of comprehensive dermatological services. Dr. Dyson is also a board-certified dermatopathologist and is the Director of Dyson Dermatopathology Lab. Along with her clinical practice, she performs the microscopic interpretation of skin biopsies for her own patients and for those of other physicians in Tucson and beyond. Dr. Dyson has held distinguished academic positions as Director of Dermatopathology and Assistant Professor of Dermatology at University of California, Irvine. She is the author and co-author of numerous articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals and has contributed many chapters to a dermatologic book. She also serves as an editor for many dermatologic journals. Dr. Dyson is active in teaching residents and medical students and was twice awarded Teacher of the Year by dermatology residents. As a fellow of the American Board of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Society of Dermatopathology, Dr. Dyson continues to be invited to and has participated as a guest lecturer at numerous medical seminars. A genuine "people person", Dr. Dyson brings both her medical expertise and outstanding bedside manner to all of her patients with a wide range of skin conditions and aesthetic skin concerns. Dr. Dyson resides in Tucson with her husband, a pediatrician, and their three children.

Shelby Coplen

  • Certified Physician Assistant
Shelby Coplen is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in dermatology. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the Tucson Dermatology Society and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Before attending graduate school, Shelby attended Indiana University where she received her undergraduate degree in Biology with honors. She then pursued her graduate studies at Butler University where she graduated with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies. She has special interests in both assisting with surgical procedures and treating autoimmune diseases such as psoriasis. She works to improve her patients' quality of life by offering education on disease prevention and lifestyle changes for their individual dermatologic conditions. Prior to working in dermatology, she worked as a physician assistant in gastroenterology, where she gained experience working with many conditions that have associated dermatologic complications including inflammatory bowel disease and liver cirrhosis. In her free time, Shelby enjoys hiking, traveling, and all things outdoors. She currently resides in Tucson with her husband, a PhD candidate at UA.

Tabitha Bayne

Tabitha Bayne is a physician assistant specializing in dermatology. She is board certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and a diplomate of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Her many areas of interest include acne, psoriasis, eczema and skin cancer. She has trained in clinics from coast to coast, from a clinic in western Oregon to a clinic on the Boston shore line and appreciates the diversity that this country has. With a focus on general dermatology, she strives to provide comprehensive, patient focused, high quality dermatologic care in a friendly and compassionate manner. When not in clinic her other interests include painting, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
