Originally from Durham, Ahmed was fortunate to attend NC State for his undergraduate degree. During that time, he volunteered and later worked at Marbles Kid's Museum which served as an introduction to the field of education. After spending 5 years as a stem educator and mentor in New York City, he returned to North Carolina to attend graduate school at UNC before joining the wolf pack as the AEV director.

Bio
Eren's background spans a range of disciplines, including design, art and engineering. He's a technical guru and resource for all things related to design, prototyping, equipment and manufacturing. Eren spends most of his time helping students best utilize the Garage Prototyping equipment to accomplish their entrepreneurial project goals.

Bio
Haley Huie, Director of the Entrepreneurship Clinic, joined the NC State Entrepreneurship team in June 2015 and served as the Director of Experiential Learning for NC State Entrepreneurship, and led the Albright Entrepreneurs Village and the Garage team to support student entrepreneurs through a vibrant learning community at NC State. She works with the Garage members and Albright Entrepreneurship Village residents to provide co-curricular events and programming to bolster growing ventures and ideas. She also teaches courses designed to promote entrepreneurial thinking and heads up K-12 summer programs. Prior to joining the team, she spent more than 10 years working in higher education in the areas of student programming, instruction and retention initiatives, and in business consulting. She is an alumna of NC State and holds a master's degree in instructional technology and leadership in higher education.

Bio
Jennifer Capps is the Assistant Vice Provost and Director of Student Learning and Faculty Development for NC State Entrepreneurship. She develops and delivers classroom content, mentors entrepreneurship students and presents at entrepreneurship and innovation events around the world. She mentors faculty interested in implementing entrepreneurial thinking into courses and consults with organizations on developing entrepreneurial mindsets within their employees. She completed her MSM at NC State, specializing in New Product Development and Technology Commercialization. Jennifer has worked with entrepreneurial organizations for over 19 years and has been involved with entrepreneurship education since 2001. During that time, she has taught over 4000 students and mentored many, many more. In 2009, she was named one of Triangle Business Journal's Top Women in Business for her work in teaching and mentoring entrepreneurial students, and in 2016 she was recognized by the NC State Office of International Affairs for Leadership in International Education.

Marshall Brain is most widely known as the founder of HowStuffWorks.com, an award-winning website that offers clear, objective and easy-to-understand explanations of how the world around us actually works. The site, which he created as a hobby in 1998 and took through several rounds of venture funding totaling approximately $8 million, was purchased for $250 million by Discovery Communications in 2007.
As a well-known public speaker with the ability to deliver complex material in a way that is easily understood by audiences of all types, Brain is a regular guest on radio and TV programs nationwide. He has been featured on everything CNN and Good Morning America to The Oprah Winfrey Show. In 2008 and 2009, he was the host of the National Geographic channel's Factory Floor With Marshall Brain, a series of one-hour factory tours taking the viewer on a journey into the world of product design, engineering and manufacturing.
Brain is the author of more than a dozen books as well as a number of widely known web publications including How to Make a Million Dollars, Robotic Nation and Manna. His book The Teenager's Guide to the Real World is now in its tenth printing and was selected for the New York Public Library's prestigious "Books for the Teen Age" list. He frequently works with students at all levels to help them understand science and technology topics, entrepreneurship and how the world works.

Todd Marrs joined NC State Entrepreneurship as Director of Development in August 2019. Todd is charged with developing partnerships and securing philanthropic support for Entrepreneurship programs and scholarships. A career fundraiser, Todd previously held positions in development at UNC Charlotte, University of Houston, University of South Florida and The University of Tampa.
