She has a remarkable ability to connect with donors and volunteers, inspiring them to contribute generously to causes that align with their values and aspirations.

Courtney Davies - CEO, President

Courtney Davies leads the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation's mission to end the most commonly diagnosed and deadliest childhood cancer as the foundation's President and Chief Executive Officer. Since joining the foundation in December 2019, Davies has led the Board of Directors and staff through the pandemic, positioning the organization and its mission for growth in support of families navigating life after a child's brain tumor diagnosis. A solutions-oriented fundraising and development executive, Courtney brings over two decades of nonprofit leadership experience to this role. Her consistent record of accomplishment in organizational growth, fundraising, donor development, strategic planning, and volunteer and staff management is critical in improving children's lives through research, family support, and advocacy. Prior to joining the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, Courtney served the Type 1 diabetes community for twenty years: most recently as JDRF's Vice President, U.S. Field, providing overall management and fiscal responsibility for JDRF's chapter structure and its 500+ talented development professionals. In her personal life, Courtney is passionate about spending time with her husband Jeff and children, Owen and Cayleigh, which means baseball fields and volleyball courts in and around the state of North Carolina. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of California, San Diego, an Executive Education Certification from Columbia University's Not-for-Profit Management program, a Master Trainer certificate for the "Mastering Relationship Management" consultative sales curriculum, and a pending certificate as an Authentic Leadership Coach.
