The competitive PR landscape in 2010 was dominated by players having early head start, scale and foreign partners or owners. Being a bootstrapped company, we focused on two key areas for establishing our presence. One, our ability to offer a holistic perspective, built upon domain knowledge, understanding of the environment and insights on media's comprehension on the issues. This is demonstrated in terms of our ability to generate content, establish connects and comprehend the relevant context for exploring opportunities. And two, being structured as a law firm, the clients got proper attention - as each partner managed (and continues to till this day) a set of client relationships - thereby offering a much more personalised service and assurance of being available on call...
