Gas Malaysia Virtual Pipeline Sdn. Bhd. ("GMVP"), or formerly known as Gas Malaysia IEV Sdn. Bhd., was incorporated on 21 October 2014. The company which is fully owned by Gas Malaysia Berhad ("Gas Malaysia") focuses on the distribution and strategic utilisation of Compressed Natural Gas ("CNG") via land transportation to customers who have no access to Gas Malaysia's Natural Gas Distribution System ("NGDS") pipeline. Natural gas is an alternative fuel source to Liquefied Petroleum Gas ("LPG"), Medium Fuel Oil ("MFO"), Light Fuel Oil ("LFO") and diesel due to its attractive pricing... Distance to NGDS will no longer be a factor when switching to natural gas. Our transportation system (which comprises of prime movers and tube skids) can deliver CNG to industrial premises with considerable cost savings.
