He is a seasoned owner, operator and manager of real estate, a capable banker, a published author and the best darn mentor one could ask for.

Steve is the CEO and Founder of GMP Development, a full-service, Chicago-based MBE-certified general contracting firm specializing in design-build, construction management, owner's representation and consulting. Early in his 35+ year career, Steve quickly rose to become Senior General Superintendent & Project Executive at firms like Pepper Construction, Turner Construction & Gilbane Building Company and has participated in over $5 billion dollars of development; including stints as Director of Purchasing for the $600-million-dollar McCormick Place expansion and as SVP of Operations at Provident Hospital. Steve serves on the Board of Directors of Breakthrough.
