At Hagar we are committed to the whole journey. The whole journey starts with a survivor, an individual who has experienced severe trauma as a result of slavery, trafficking, or abuse. From the moment that individual enters our care, we work with them to assess what their needs are, and offer a full range of intensive and individualised services. We rebuild trust and resilience... By partnering with Hagar, you're supporting survivors to heal from the trauma of severe abuse. Our work is dependent on charitable giving by people like you... Hagar provides direct services to women and children in Cambodia, Vietnam and Singapore. In Myanmar, we provide capacity-building services, support and tools to other organisations and their staff who are serving individuals and communities who have experienced abuse, trauma, and chronic stress. In Afghanistan, we provide humanitarian assistance for people who are displaced, vulnerable, or living in poverty.
