Jason Morgan is Co-President of Morgan Properties and President of Morgan Properties Special Situations. Jason's primary responsibilities involve sourcing, underwriting, and executing multifamily acquisition and debt investment opportunities. Jason joined the Company in May 2017 when Morgan Properties was the 25th largest apartment owner in the country and has been instrumental in elevating the Company to the third largest with over 95,000 units and over $17 billion in assets. Over the past 4 years, Morgan Properties has acquired over $7B in acquisition volume comprising over 60,000 units. Jason sits on Morgan Properties' Investment Committee where he evaluates all the Company's acquisition and debt investment opportunities. Morgan Properties Special Situations invests in equity recapitalizations, fixed-income securities, and other alternative multifamily investment opportunities. Jason has put together a team and developed the processes that Morgan Properties has utilized to become a major investor in the Freddie Mac K-series CMBS space. Since launching its Special Situations platform in 2017, Morgan Properties has executed multiple recapitalizations of portfolios valued at over $3.5 Billion and closed on acquisitions of 29 Freddie Mac K-Series B-Pieces across $33 Billion in UPB and 1,300 properties. Morgan's B-Piece portfolio has a market value in excess of $1 Billion. Prior to joining Morgan Properties, Jason worked at Sculptor Capital Management, formerly known as Och-Ziff Capital Management, where he focused on equity investments, preferred equity structures, mezzanine financing, and senior loans across traditional and niche real estate asset classes. Before Sculptor, Jason worked at Goldman Sachs in the real estate investment banking group. Jason received a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a concentration in Finance and Real Estate from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He currently serves on The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia's Board, the Federation Housing Inc. Board, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's (CHOP) Facilities Expansion Advisory Committee, and the Jewish Federation Real Estate Committee. He is also a member of the Chamber's Policy Research and Legislation Committee and contributes to Forbes' Real Estate Council. Jason has been recognized as a recipient of Commercial Observer's 2021 Game-Changing Visionary Award, one of Philadelphia Business Journal's Real Estate Rising Stars, HousingWire's 2020 Rising Stars, and a recipient of Connect Media's 2020 Next Generation Award in the National category.

Jonathan Morgan is Co-President of Morgan Properties and President of Morgan Properties JV. Jonathan handles the day-to-day management and operations of the company's portfolio and oversees acquisitions and capital markets. His responsibilities involve sourcing, underwriting, negotiating and closing acquisitions, dispositions, recapitalizations, and refinancing all transactions consummated by Morgan Properties. He also sources and establishes Morgan Properties' joint venture partnerships with institutional investors. Since its inception in 2011, Morgan Properties JV has been one of the most active and fastest-growing multifamily investors in the country. Under Jonathan's leadership, the company has purchased over $10 billion in acquisition volume and over 75,000 units, asserting its proven track record of creating value for its investors through value-add repositioning, rehabilitation, and professional management expertise. Prior to joining Morgan Properties, Jonathan worked at Apollo Real Estate Advisors where he focused on investment activities involving high-yielding debt opportunities and equity investments in real estate assets and real estate operating companies. Prior to joining Apollo, Jonathan worked at Bear Stearns in the commercial mortgage-backed securities division. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Columbia Business School. He was recognized with Real Estate Forum's 50 Under 40 award two years in a row, Philadelphia Business Journal's 40 Under 40 recipient, Multifamily Executive's Rising Star, one of Philadelphia Business Journal's Most Admired CEOs of 2019 and the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2019 in Greater Philadelphia. Mitchell Morgan is Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Morgan Properties, a national leader in the investment and management of multifamily properties. As Chief Executive Officer, Mitchell is responsible for maintaining oversight over all business aspects at Morgan Properties, which he founded in 1985. Under his leadership, Morgan Properties has grown to become the 3rd largest multifamily owner in the country with a portfolio comprised of more than 350 apartment communities and over 95,000 units in 19 states and over $16 billion in assets. Morgan Properties is currently the largest apartment owner in the states of Pennsylvania, Maryland and New York. Mitchell has been an integral member of the Philadelphia business community for more than 40 years. Prior to founding Morgan Properties, Mitchell worked for Construction Consultants, a company that built and managed apartment companies. Before that, he spent several years at an international public accounting firm in the tax department. Mitchell earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Temple University in 1976 and a law degree from Temple Law in 1980. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Temple University after serving as a longstanding trustee and the Chair of the Facilities Committee. Mitchell is the only Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Temple who is an alum of Temple University in over 50 years. Mitchell also serves on the Board of Trustees at the National Museum of American Jewish History, Federation Housing, and Golden Slipper. In addition, he is a research sponsor at the Samuel Zell and Robert Lurie Real Estate Center at the Wharton School. In the past, Mitchell has served as President of the Apartment Association of Greater Philadelphia, a Board member of the Royal Bank of Pennsylvania, and a Trustee of the Penn Medicine Board. Through the Morgan Family Foundation, Mitchell and his family are deeply committed to making a difference in the lives of others.
