Bruce L Hinton Jr has dedicated his life to serving the community he dwells. As a native of Metro-Atlanta, his focus is exposing and empowering individuals social-economically. Reared by a military/ministerial family, giving of oneself is his motivating mantra.
A veteran of the Armed Forces, he has proudly served 20 years of honorable military service. He currently functions as Commander and Logistics Officer in the US Army.
Expanding on his base, Bruce matriculated from Georgia Perimeter College with an Associates in Business Administration. He continued his educational pursuits by completing a dual bachelor's Program at Georgia State University, in the disciplines of Real Estate and Risk Management & Insurance. He recently completed graduate studies at DeVry's, Keller School of Management with an MBA
Concentrating in Project Management. In addition, he possesses a Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship.

George Brown was born in St. Louis, Missouri. He is a graduate of Illinois State University with a Bachelor Degree in Recreation and Park Administration. He was a quarterback and wide receiver for the Illinois State Redbirds. He worked for DeKalb County Parks and Recreation for 6 years as Sports Specialist and Athletic Coordinator. He is the owner of Heroes At Home Barber Shop and has been in business, in the
Stone Mountain area of Gwinnett County since May 1999 to present. He has always had a passion to make a difference in the community and with our youth. He is also the Founder and President of Heroes In Action, Incorporated. Through Heroes In Action, Incorporated, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, he has be able to make the difference in the community by providing thousands of dollars in scholarships, community seminars, and community activities. He truly has given back to the community and has brought our youth, families and the community together. Last but not least, he is the father of a beautiful and talented daughter named Ashley Brown.

Tonya Hodges currently serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors for Heroes in Action, Inc. She has served on the board since 2018 and also chairs the Finance/Fundraising Committee.
Tonya first became involved with Heroes in Action, Inc. several years ago as a supporter of its various community fundraisers and events. She has always been inspired by its leader, George Brown and his willingness to support the people in the community.
As a board member, Tonya has been able to contribute her experience in event planning, fundraising and her passion to just help and serve others.
One of her favorite biblical scriptures is ‘To whom much is given; much is required. Luke 12:48'.
Tonya is proud to serve on the Board of Directors and looks forward to being instrumental in taking Heroes in Action, Inc. to new heights.
