Island Structures Engineering was founded by William R. Schlumpf in the early 1980's with the goal of servicing the commercial and industrial sector. It has since grown to encompass the practice of civil and structural engineering, architecture, and the project and construction management of municipal projects and similar facilities. The firm currently consists of design professionals licensed in multiple states, as well as a detail oriented design/support staff. The firm is located in West Islip, New York in a new state of the art facility, with room to expand and grow into the future. Our office utilizes AutoCAD 2018, and additional programs such as STAAD Pro for the design of complicated structures. We also have in-house wide format plotting and printing capabilities.
