JK Carpets was founded in 1985 by John and Pam Kulick in Locust Grove, VA. John started in the flooring industry as a young teenager, learning the trade through his father, and continued as a flooring installer before deciding to start his own business. His wife, Pam, had an accounting background and naturally took responsibility of the bookkeeping and ordering, while John provided estimates, scheduled installations, and completed jobs along with other JK Carpets installers... JK Carpets is a supporter of Habitat for Humanity, Relay for Life, March of Dimes, and various other national and local organizations...
