The Kansas Perinatal Quality Collaborative (KPQC) brings medical professionals and public health leaders together to improve maternal health outcomes and reduce maternal mortality in our state. Steered by a diverse executive committee of healthcare professionals, KPQC works in partnership with the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE), the Kansas Maternal Mortality Review Committee (Kansas MMRC), academic medical centers, hospital birth centers, community health centers, local health departments, and other organizations to identify and address concerns in quality of care for mothers and their babies... Our mission is to improve Kansas' maternal and infant health outcomes by assuring quality perinatal care, using data-driven, evidence-based practice and quality improvement processes...
