Dr. Shannon Shepard

Dr. Shannon Shepard joined the Leesburg Animal Hospital team in 2009. Dr. Shepard hails from Eufaula, Alabama. She is a 2003 graduate of Troy University and a 2008 graduate of Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Shannon and her husband, Dane, live in Smithville with their three children, Nate, Kinley, and Drake. Dr. Shepard's extended family includes three dogs Polly Rosebud who is a Havanese mix, Camp who is a German Shorthair Pointer and Lance, a lab mix. Dr. Shannon adopted Polly Rosebud and Lance from the Lee County Shelter. Dr. Shannon also has two cats named Divot and Melon. Dr. Shannon enjoys running CrossFit, refinishing furniture, camping, and boating with her family. Dr. Shannon is an active member of the GVMA & AVMA. She also serves as a board member on the Lee County parent advisory board & the Chatt-Flint GYSTC Board. Having a special interest in small animal medicine and surgery, Dr. Shepard is an important addition to the Leesburg Animal Hospital team.

Gracie Mann

Gracie Mann being a long-time animal lover, decided to join Leesburg Animal Hospital in July 2022. Gracie has become a familiar face greeting clients and their pets as they walk in the door. Gracie has a Brittany spaniel/doodle mix named Mister Baby, An American Bully named Mister Roy, and a Chiweenie named Miss Dalilah Gracie enjoys riding/ showing her mare (Chloe, appendix) in English pleasure, halter, showmanship, and more. Gracie graduated from Lee County High School in 2020. She has also lived in Leesburg.

Haley Weaver

Haley has two dogs named Olive Juice and Idah Best, both sweet bulldogs, and one cat named Loren zo. Haley enjoys hanging out with family, and friends and spending time with her dogs, Kayaking, crafting, and gardening. Haley graduated from Lee County High School in 2016. She first joined the veterinary field in 2017.

Max Royals

Max joined Leesburg Animal Hospital in February 2022. Max cares for the animal that visits for boarding as well as those who have had surgery. Max's daily tasks include feeding the animals, walking them outside for bathroom breaks, giving them baths, and helping to keep our hospital a clean environment for everyone. Max has three dogs named Ella, a pit mix. Allie, a dachshund, and Jack, a dachshund. Max has one cat named Ash. Max joins in spending with family and friends. Max also likes spending time with his girlfriend. Max likes playing football, playing in the pool, kayaking, and fishing. Max graduated from Lee County high school in May of 2021

Mindy Earley

Mindy Earley is a 2008 graduate of Lee County High School. Mindy joined Leesburg Animal Hospital in January 2006 through a work-study program with the high school. After graduation, she became a full-time employee. After a few short years of working at Leesburg Animal Hospital. Mindy became the manager of the boarding facility, where she made sure all animals received their daily medications, were fed the proper diets and were walked or allowed their playtime in our designated areas. Mindy began to work in our reception in 2019. It was Mindy's voice callers often hear when they call our office and her smiling face they see when they come in the door. Mindy began as the practice manager in May 2022. Mindy resides in Leesburg with her husband, Johnny, and their son, Daniel, born in June 2010. Their extended family includes two chihuahuas named Coco Chanel and Tres. A Jack Russell Terrier named Sawyer. A Pitt named Ivey.
