Rod Lingle has been a GCSAA member, golf course superintendent, and agronomist for more than 40 years. He achieved the Certified Golf Course Superintendent (CGCS) designation nearly 35 years ago, is the patent holder for Greens Perfection brushes and Mach 1 Ultradwarf Bermudagrass. Rod was named Tennessee Turfgrass Professional of the Year in 2007, received an award for Private Course of the Year in Tennessee in 2014, and was named one of the 50 Most Influential People in the First Hundred Years of Tennessee Golf by the Tennessee Golf Association. He has been an instructor for the Ultradwarf Greens Management Field Day for the USGA, and speaks at many conferences in his region. He has previously taught both seminars and webinars for GCSAA.
