Most successful companies have a founder with roots in the industry, Jason Lutke is no exception. Lutke Forest Products was founded in 1992 with a Gafner 4500 iron mule, straight truck, tri-axle trailer and a solid work ethic. While employed at Pine Tech Lumber Company and harvesting part-time with SD Warren until 1996, founder Jason Lutke took the plunge and expanded, adding two forwarders and two Hydro-Ax feller bunchers to improve production and to keep up with increased demand coming from solid recommendations by landowners, mill operators and timber companies who took notice of Jason's policy of going the extra mile to do the job right and to treat the land as if it were his own. Jason officially incorporated Lutke Forest Products in 2000, and now running up to ten full time crews. Lutke Hydraulics was born in 2008 providing the logging professionals in the area with hydraulic hoses, repairs, chainsaws, saw chain, small engine repair and a machine shop.
