Vision To leverage expertise in mechanistic cell biology and biophysical imaging technologies to tackle problems at the interface of basic and clinical research. The research program is focused on discovering how defects in organelles such as centrosome and cilia cause rare diseases and cancer by impacting four main areas: 1. validation of candidate disease genes 2. molecular mechanism 3. development of diagnostic methods. 4. discovery of therapies.
