Caitlin Cable - CHRO

Caitlin Cable is responsible for recruiting, engaging, and supporting the mission-driven people who together make AdaptX successful. An expert in organizational effectiveness, Caitlin works closely with AdaptX's leaders to foster a collaborative culture that empowers individual and team success. Before joining AdaptX, Caitlin served as Chief People Officer at Caradigm, a leading population health management company acquired by GE Healthcare, and at FareStart, a large-scale nonprofit in Seattle. Earlier, Caitlin worked at Microsoft, where she held leadership roles in domestic and international recruiting. Caitlin also has extensive experience as a consultant, providing organizational design and support counsel to startup companies and long-established enterprises. Caitlin is a graduate of North Carolina State University.

Chad McAvoy - CIO

As the CIO & VP of Engineering, Chad McAvoy is responsible for developing and delivering AdaptX's unique technologies for clinical management. In this role, Chad ensures that the AdaptX team understands our customers' needs, and that AdaptX's AI-driven software continuously improves clinical leader's ability to pursue their care transformation priorities. Chad's prior experience includes development and deployment of healthcare provider and payer applications at Optaio, ECS, eChargemaster, and United Healthcare. Additionally, Chad has deep experience in cloud deployment, data encryption, and project management, stemming from his leadership roles at companies including GlobalScape, Wachovia, and Dell. Earlier in his career, Chad served in the US Navy's nuclear engineering program.

Dan Low

As an expert in clinical systems improvement, Dan Low brings over 20 years of clinical experience and visionary leadership to AdaptX, with published research spanning patient safety, human factors, lean methodology, and medical technology. Dan has frequently been invited to present lectures, in the United States and internationally, on clinical transformation, physician engagement, continuous clinical improvement, and using real world data to improve patient outcomes. Dan stays grounded in the everyday practicalities of delivering quality care by serving as an Attending Pediatric Anesthesiologist at Seattle Children's Hospital, where he has fostered teams committed to continuous improvement. Dan is a passionate educator, and he has received numerous teaching awards as an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology at the University of Washington. As an expert in systems improvement and human factors, Dan has also been sought after for consultation on non-healthcare safety and team performance issues, including improving U.S. Navy operations and commercial aviation teamwork. Dan received his medical education in the United Kingdom at the University of Nottingham.

Dr. Andy Foster

Dr. Andy Foster is responsible for managing AdaptX's relationships with the Defense Health Agency (DHA) and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Prior to joining AdaptX, Andy served for 27 years in the United States Army Medical Corps as an anesthesiologist and Chief of Anesthesia and Operative Services at Madigan Army Medical Center at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. In this leadership role, Andy focused on patient safety in the operating room, the use of data to enhance OR performance metrics, and the integration of new Anesthesia Information systems into the clinical workflow. Andy's innovations in patient safety were recognized by the Army Medical Department's Patient Safety Program as standard-setting achievements that have been replicated Army-wide. While on active duty, he also served as the regional anesthesiology consultant to the Army Surgeon General. His Army career included two deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Andrew retired at the rank of Colonel. Andy earned his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland, and completed his residency training in anesthesiology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C.

Elizabeth Skelton

Liza Skelton is responsible for ensuring Customer success as the leader of AdaptX's Clinical Services team. Liza's extensive clinical experience includes over 20 years leading patient teams in academic medical center, community hospital and clinic environments. Before joining AdaptX as Clinical Impact Director, Liza served as Nurse Manager for the University of Washington Medical Center's Emergency Department, where Liza's teams transformed bedside management of traumatic head injuries, dramatically improved sepsis care, and optimized management of neonatal emergencies. Across her many clinical roles, Liza's career has focused on continuously improving the processes and teams underlying quality of care, and she is passionate about empowering clinicians, administrators, and analysts. Liza holds a Master of Health Administration degree from the University of Washington and is a graduate of both Coastal Carolina and Western Governors University.

Lisa Counsell - Chief Commercial Officer

Lisa Counsell comes to AdaptX with more than two decades of leadership experience in healthcare and technology, including executive positions managing sales, clinical optimization, and customer success programs. As a proven industry leader, she has successfully led teams focused on clinical consulting, EHR optimization, sales, business development, sales support, and clinical solution design. At AdaptX, Lisa manages sales and account management teams, develops new business opportunities, and creatively solves customers' needs. Before focusing her career on healthcare technology, Lisa served as a frontline critical care nurse and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.

Lynn Martin

With more than 30 years of clinical leadership experience, Lynn brings invaluable clinical and management expertise to his role supporting our customers' success. As a nationally-recognized trailblazer for quality, safety, efficiency, and process improvement, Lynn was the 2023 recipient of the Yaster Lifetime Achievement Award from the Society of Pediatric Anesthesia. A prolific innovator, Lynn has authored or co-authored more than 65 peer-reviewed studies. At the core of all this work, Lynn's focus has been the practical, real-world improvement of patient care, which is most recently reflected in his groundbreaking paper "Outcomes for 41,260 Pediatric Surgical Patients with Opioid-Free Anesthesia: One Center's Experience" published in Pediatric Anesthesia. Before joining AdaptX, Lynn served a variety of key leadership roles with Seattle Children's, including Chief of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine and Medical Director for Continuous Improvement and Innovation. Lynn also was the founding Medical Director of the Bellevue Clinic & Surgery Center, which has been nationally recognized for innovations in quality and efficiency. In addition, Lynn co-founded the Pediatric Regional Anesthesia Network (PRAN) and Wake Up Safe (WUS), and Lynn served as the president of the Society of Pediatric Anesthesia. Lynn earned his MD from the University of Washington School of Medicine and his MBA from the University of Tennessee. He completed his Pediatrics residency at the Phoenix Children's Hospital, where he also served as Chief Resident, and he completed his Anesthesiology residency at Johns Hopkins.

Matthew Goos

Matthew Goos leads technology innovation across AdaptX's unique clinical management applications. With extensive experience across both startups and established companies, Matthew has a very practical vision for software delivery: effective solutions for clinical leaders must marry technical innovation with simplicity. Bringing this vision to life, Matthew is committed to a culture of applied creativity that challenges and supports AdaptX's technical teams. Prior to AdaptX, Matthew's experience included software architecture, development, and management roles at Zulily, GlobalScape, Razorfish, GTE, and Medintell. Matthew is a graduate of Knox College.

Warren Ratliff - CEO

Warren Ratliff leads AdaptX's mission to empower clinical leaders to transform care by leveraging their own real-world data. Warren brings to AdaptX extensive leadership experience across a wide range of healthcare technology businesses, including software systems for hospitals, health systems, ambulatory clinics, and payers. Most recently, Warren was co-founder and chief operating officer of Caradigm, a leading population health management company acquired by GE Healthcare. Under Warren's leadership, Caradigm was recognized as a breakout leader in the analytics and care management solutions required for population health. Prior to Caradigm, Warren served as vice president for GE Healthcare Enterprise Solutions, where he helped develop new software products while also turning around operations for legacy enterprise and departmental businesses. Earlier, Warren held several executive roles across McKesson's provider and payer technology divisions. Before focusing on healthcare, Warren supported technology businesses as an attorney. After clerking with the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, Warren joined, and later co-chaired, the technology practice at Farris, Warfield & Kanaday. Warren holds a B.A. summa cum laude from Duke University, where he was an Angier B. Duke Scholar, and a J.D. from Yale Law School.
