April earned her Bachelor of Arts in history education from the University of Washington and completed her fifth year at Central Washington University. Additionally, she is a trained educational therapist through the National Institute for Learning Disabilities.
Carolyn graduated from Whitworth University with a BA in Elementary Education and received her MA degree in Instructional Leadership. She has taught in both public and private schools at the preschool and elementary level. Carolyn homeschooled her son from 4 th-12 th grade. She lives in the Seattle area with her husband and son.

Dr. Jon Fassett received his Ph.D. in Mathematics in 2001 from Oregon State University and taught at the university level for 19 years. His research interests are in topology and dynamical systems, with a special focus on fractal geometry. Jon has given several talks on fractals to audiences ranging from 3rd graders to research mathematicians and is known for always finding a way to insert a discussion of fractals into every math course he teaches. Over the years Jon has worked as high school teacher, community college instructor, actuary, university professor, and chief compliance officer - in that order. He recently has decided to return to his "first love" of teaching mathematics. Jon and his wife Emmelia have nine children and began homeschooling over 25 years ago.
Katie earned her BA in music-Pre-teaching and MA in Teaching from George Fox University. She is currently working toward earning her credentials for teaching mathematics. After teaching music at all levels in Oregon Public Schools for three years, Mrs. Meinzinger and her husband moved to Yakima to work with NARHS. She is the Assistant Registrar.

A homeschooling mom herself, Maureen home educated her five sons all the way from kindergarten through high school. Professionally, she has a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education, a Master of Arts in Counselor Education, and is licensed as a teacher and guidance counselor. Maureen and her husband currently reside in the foothills of the Western Mountains of Maine, where the rivers run clear, the children run free, and the summers are much too short.

Pia grew up in the South and graduated from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington. She has homeschooled for over 16 years, having graduated two sons. She is currently homeschooling a daughter who will be a senior. Pia enjoys graphic arts and caring for her "Funny Farm" full of "uselessly amazing" animals.
Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and a Master of Education in Instructional Design. She has taught in public schools and in homeschool co-ops, and has been a homeschooling parent since 2008. Sarah is passionate about education and especially about helping each child explore their personal interests and take advantage of their strengths.
Shannan graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a degree in Life Sciences. She served as a Young Life volunteer for eight years and worked as the Young Life Middle School coordinator in the Yakima Valley for six years. For NARHS she oversees the transcript department as Registrar.

Silvia attended Texas Tech University and was a home schooling mom for seventeen years. She was very active in her local home school support group and began assisting home school families with high schoolers in 2005 as a curriculum advisor and by reviewing their portfolios for high school credit.
Stephanie spent the majority of her childhood engaging in community theatre on and off stage and graduated from the Seattle Film Institute. Her studies included scriptwriting, directing, casting, and working with actors. She has worked the last 5 years in HR and Administration and is excited to assist NARHS.
Wendi graduated from Central Washington University with a BA in Business Education and an MA in Master Teacher. She has taught in both private and public schools, most recently being Eisenhower High School, grades 9-12 in the business department from 1998-2011 teaching keyboarding, computer applications, business math and accounting. She has home schooled her daughter and also works with her granddaughter.
