NORTH EAST CHINESE ASSOCIATION

The North East Chinese Association (NECA) was established in 1979 by a group of volunteers endeavouring to promote Chinese culture and act as a bride between the Chinese community and the local authorities... We carry out community-based research and provide an innovative media platform for the expression of British-Chinese aspirations. We have worked and partnered with organisations such as Newcastle City Council, Northumbria Police, individuals and volunteers on community outreach events and projects to strengthen the social and concerns of the British-Chinese community.
