Allison Hernandez

Mrs. Hernandez (MWF 4's, Extended Day, and T/Th 3's Teacher) started as our Music teacher in 2015. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, a Masters in Special Education, and is certified in both NJ and PA in Special Education. She's been a P.E.P. Club teacher since 2006, which has included singing, pretend play, tumbling, and more. All four of her children have attended the Preschool and in her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and reading.

Amy Nyland

Job Titles:

Pastor Amy began at North Branch in January of 2024. She lives in Bridgwater with her two poodles, Avi, a therapy dog who will visit the preschool occasionally, and Sofie, who is very spoiled and adorable. Pastor Amy spends her free time traveling to visit her three adult sons, walking the dogs, cooking healthy food, and visiting NYC. She served two previous congregations and the Regional Synod in New York before coming to New Jersey to serve at North Branch.

Anna Ludwig

Job Titles:

Anna Ludwig (T/Th 3's Assistant)began teaching at the Preschool in 2005 as a substitute teacher and holds the role of Art Enrichment teacher and Language Arts teacher. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art Therapy with a background in Special Education. All three of her children have attended the Preschool. In her spare time, she enjoys family time, art, cooking, gardening, going to Cape May, and watching soccer.

Anna May Halligan

Mrs. Halligan (MWF 4's Assistant) began teaching at the Preschool in 2010 and has been an Assistant Teacher in our three and four year old classes. She has over 20 years of previous teaching experience, is a NJ State certified Group Teacher, and helped create the first Camp North Branch curriculum. Mrs. Halligan's daughter attended the Preschool when she was little. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and keeping up with her daughter.

Chelsea Pirez - Treasurer

Mrs. Pirez (Treasurer) started at the Preschool in 2023 and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Fashion Merchandising and Business. Her two daughters attended the Preschool and her son will soon start Little Lambs. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading , traveling anywhere there is a beach, and cheering on her kids at their sporting events.

Christine Torres

Mrs. Torres (5 Day 4's Assistant) I started subbing at the school in 2017, when my daughter was attending. My educational background is in Business, however I have always had a passion for working with children. My experience ranges from being involved in our church youth groups and Sunday school programs, to being a long term substitute and an Educational Paraprofessional within a preschool classroom in Hunterdon county. I was previously a school secretary of a PreK through 8th grade school where I was very active with each of the grades. My passion is to encourage students in their educational journey while making it a fun experience for them. I am excited to return to North Branch Reformed Church Preschool. In my spare time, I enjoy taking trips to Ireland with my husband and daughter, I love to crochet, craft and read whenever possible.

Gerianne McGowan

Mrs. McGowan (5-Day 5's Teacher) began teaching at the Preschool in 2002 and has five years of additional teaching experience. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, specializing in child development and Early Childhood Education and a NJ State Head Teacher certificate. You can find her teaching the Five-Day class Monday through Friday, in Science Explorers, or Reading Romp enrichment classes. One of her three children attended the Preschool. In her spare time, she enjoys quilting, sewing, reading, and spending time with her children.

Jennifer Landrieu

Mrs. Landrieu became the Director of the Preschool in 2008, served as a member of the Preschool Board for two years, and has 15 years of additional experience in the field. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education with concentrations in the Fine and Performing Arts. She is a NJ State certified teacher. Both of her sons attended the Preschool. She is a church member and Sunday School Teacher. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, crocheting, and reading.

Kathy Moczydlowski

Mrs. Moczydlowski (5-day 5's Teacher's Assistant) started teaching at NBRC Preschool as a substitute teacher back in 1995. She enjoyed every minute of teaching here for the next 19 years and left in July of 2014 to pursue her husband's retirement in VA. She went on to work in retail but after moving back to NJ, she began teaching again at the Goddard School in Branchburg. Now, she is very excited to be back at NBRC Preschool again. She went to Raritan Valley Community College and received her Group Teacher Approval Certificate in April of 1997. She has three children but moved to the area when only her daughter was able to attend and it was a wonderful experience. In her spare time she enjoys watching her four grandchildren. She also enjoys crafting and watching tv.

Kerry Narewski

Mrs. Narewski (Music Teacher) has been teaching music to children for 22 years. Her early music classes, learning instruments and singing, in Elementary, Middle and High School inspired her love of music. In her early 20's, she worked in NYC as a songwriter and studio singer. At that time she learned production from her producer. She signed with a management company as an artist and toured the tri-state area. A few of her accomplishments include: entertaining athletes in the 2002 Olympic Village in Salt Lake City; singing the National Anthem at Madison Square Garden; and writing over 400 songs along with her self produced children's music. She has always loved music and her greatest joy has been teaching children the love of music and inspiring confidence. Along with teaching, she is now singing in Masterwork Chorus. Mrs. Narewski has two children of her own, Natalie and Nicholas.

Maureen Gaboda

Mrs. Gaboda (MWF 3's Assistant) began working at the Preschool in 1978. She was the Preschool's first Language Arts teacher and has held the positions of Teacher and Assistant Teacher. One of her sons and her grandchildren all attended the Preschool. In her spare time, Mrs. Gaboda enjoys spending time with family and traveling with friends.

Michelle Boone

Mrs. Boone (MWF 3's and Extended Day Teacher)began teaching at the Preschool in 2017 as an assistant teacher in our three's class and is our Little Lambs teacher. She has filled the roles of PTO Class Parent and PTO President during her 10 years as a stay at home mom. She has a professional background in photography, tutoring, and early childhood education. One of her children attended the Preschool. In her spare time, she enjoys family activities, crafting, leading her daughter's Girl Scout troop, and keeping up with her new puppy.

Nicole Young

Mrs. Young ( (5-Day 4's Teacher) began teaching at the Preschool in January 2012 as our Little Lambs teacher and has three years of additional teaching experience. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Reading. Originally our Language Arts and Little Lambs Teacher, she is our younger 5 Day teacher. Mrs. Young is a church member, Sunday School teacher, and all three of her children attended the Preschool. Mrs. Young is also one of our Science Explorer teachers and teaches our new enrichment class, Coding with Kids. She has played a vital role in our Preschool's PTO and served on the Preschool Board. She enjoys crafting and spending time with her family.

Sarah Sasiak

Mrs. Sasiak (MWF 4's Teacher) is returning to the field of education after being a stay at home mom for the last 17 years. Prior to that she taught second grade for 7 years and preschool 4's for two years. She holds a Bachelors Degree in English and became a certified Elementary Education Teacher in New Jersey through the Alternate Route Program. Two of her four children have attended NBRC. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, attending her children's sporting events, running and yoga.

Stephanie Angle

Mrs. Angle (MWF 3's AT) started at the Preschool in 2022 as a substitute teacher and enjoyed working with children of all ages. She has a degree in Finance with 40 credits in early childhood/special education. All four of her children have attended the Preschool, with one still attending. In her spare time, she enjoys crafts, serving at church, and spending time with her family.
