With 16 years as an attorney at Nurenberg, Paris, Heller & McCarthy, Benjamin P. Wiborg has represented over 3,000 workers that have been injured on the job. Benjamin sees all types of injuries from our clients such as slip and falls, back and neck injuries, and burns, just to name a few. In addition, Benjamin handles both the administrative and litigation components to a workers' compensation claim.

Brenda M. Johnson joined Nurenberg, Paris, Heller & McCarthy in 1999, bringing several years of commercial litigation experience to our legal team. Brenda is a member of the firm's appellate department and focuses on aviation litigation, mass torts, class action lawsuits, medical malpractice, personal injury, and wrongful death.
Brenda is currently a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association (CMBA) Certified Grievance Committee. The members of the committee conduct confidential investigations of allegations of ethical misconduct by lawyers and file complaints with the Board of Professional Conduct of the Supreme Court of Ohio in cases where disciplinary action is warranted.

Dana M. Paris joined Nurenberg, Paris, Heller & McCarthy as an associate trial attorney in 2013. Since then, she has represented individuals who have been injured as a result of automobile collisions, trucking collisions, medical negligence, wrongful death, and traumatic brain injuries.
As an advocate for her clients, Dana litigates cases throughout Ohio and has successfully obtained favorable verdicts and settlements on behalf of her clients.

David M. Paris, attorney at Nurenberg, Paris, Heller & McCarthy, started with the firm as a law clerk while attending the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. Over the past 40 years, he has appeared in more than 50 jury trials and has represented thousands of injured victims as well as 700,000 consumers in class actions. He has achieved in excess of 50 seven-figure and eight-figure settlements and verdicts for his clients with more than $250 million in total recoveries.
Many of the cases he has championed have had a direct impact on the rights of consumers in Ohio. Some of the more notable decisions have been Baughman v. State Farm Mutual Insurance Co., 88 Ohio St. 3d 481 (2000) (establishing important criteria for certification of a consumer class action) and Holeton v. Crouse Cartage Co., 92 Ohio St. 3d 115 (2001) (our client was a companion case which declared Ohio's workers' compensation subrogation statute unconstitutional).
David has developed an expertise in and has successfully litigated cases involving wrongful death and catastrophic injuries, which have occurred in a variety of circumstances including defective products, medical negligence, construction sites, workplace activities, and trucking accidents.
David and his wife of 36 years currently live in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Jamie is a senior partner at Nurenberg, Paris, Heller & McCarthy. Jonathan D. Ready Mix concrete truck was traveling on a graded roadway and rolled while making a right turn directly on top of a passenger motor vehicle. Plaintiff traveling in the passenger vehicle was killed instantaneously. Case settled for $2,350,000.

Josh earned his Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where he graduated cum laude with honors in his concentration on Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution. Josh has long had a passion for trial work and oral advocacy and in addition to his extensive coursework, he developed his litigation skills as a member of the Jonathan M. Ault Mock Trial Team during law school. Based on his performance, Josh was one of just several Case Western Reserve University students named to The Order of the Barristers, a highly selective honor society that recognizes the top advocates from law schools around the country who have demonstrated exceptional skill in trial advocacy, oral advocacy, and brief writing.

Regan received her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Iowa and earned her Juris Doctor from Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, Florida. Regan founded and acted as President of the Ave Maria Health and Wellness Association.
During her time at Ave Maria School of Law, Regan was on the Moot Court Board. With more than 40 years of experience as a trial attorney, William (Bill) S. Jacobson has a reputation for providing compassionate representation to the families of birth injury victims.
Bill Jacobson devotes his legal practice at Nurenberg, Paris, Heller & McCarthy to helping the victims of catastrophic injuries with an emphasis on birth trauma and medical malpractice claims.
Bill is a member of the Birth Trauma Litigation Group, a national organization of attorneys devoted to representing families of children who suffered brain injury around the time of birth. He has published an article in the Journal of The Birth Trauma Litigation Group regarding the cross-examination of defense experts in birth injury cases.
He has written on a variety of topics in the area of medical malpractice, including deposition technique and adult, obstetrical, and pediatric malpractice claims. He has also lectured to attorneys on both local and state levels in the area of medical malpractice, with particular interest in obstetrical claims.
In November 2023, Bill delivered a lecture in Atlanta to over 100 lawyers from across the country at a seminar co-sponsored by the Birth Trauma Litigation Group and the American Association for Justice. The focus of the discussion was "The Cross-Examination of the Defense Expert in Birth Trauma Cases." Additionally, he presented in the medical malpractice section at the annual meeting of the Ohio Association of Justice, addressing the calculation of economic loss in catastrophic injury cases.
Furthermore, Bill spoke at the Cleveland Academy of Trial Attorneys, providing insights into a case he successfully argued on behalf of a birth-injured baby. The favorable verdict in this case marked one of the largest restitutions granted in the region in several years.
