Prior to Paindrainer, Alexandra worked as Nordic Marketing Manager at Niconovum, an entrepreneurial pharmaceutical company where she had a leading role in successfully launching the OTC brand Zonnic in 5 countries reaching net sales of over 100 million SEK. She is also a board member at the listed pharmaceutical company AcuCort AB and the tech start-up VoiceDiagnostic AB.

Antje M.Barreveld, M.D. is Medical Director of Pain Management Services and co-Founder and Director of Education and Outreach for Substance Use Services (SUS) at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. Dr. Barreveld is Associate Professor of Anesthesiology at Tufts University School of Medicine, and an Anesthesiologist at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. Dr. Barreveld is also Clinical Researcher at Harvard Medical School in the Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.
Nationally, Dr. Barreveld serves in numerous leadership and pain advocacy roles. She is co-Editor for the Education Section of Pain Medicine, the official journal of the American Academy of Pain Medicine, for whom she also serves as an elected Board member. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in high-ranking scientific journals including the New England Journal of Medicine, Pain Medicine, Anesthesiology, Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, and Anesthesia & Analgesia. Dr. Barreveld is a 2020 Mayday Pain & Society Fellow, selected as one of 12 national Fellows to build the next generation of pain experts to provide evidence-based and solutions-focused information about pain care and treatment as well as promising research emerging in the field.

Her responsibilities included implementation of standard operating procedures for global compliance, regulatory intelligence, CAPA and audit management, worldwide product registrations and final review of promotional materials.

Erik Frick is a successful business leader and has extensive experience working with digital products and commercial activities.
Prior to Paindrainer, Erik worked as COO and Vice President at Resurs Bank, where he took lead in corporate strategies, business development, and was responsible for the development and commercialization of their fintech app, which had around a quarter million users. He also has experience as a board member at Kivra OY during their launch phase in the Finnish market.

Prior to Paindrainer, Jakob worked as Customer Success and Business Development Manager at Flatfrog where he was responsible being the customer voice in the management- and development team. He also has co-founded and developed Unified Remote which is one of the most downloaded Swedish Android and IOS apps with over 10 million installs.
Jakob holds a MSC in Computer Science from Lund Institute of Technology.
Linda Nyberg has a solid background in media and has worked in corporate communications, public affairs, crisis communication including marketing for multinational stock-listed companies. Linda Nyberg has held several seniorkey roles in primarily the health sector. Linda Nyberg was previously the Group Corporate Affairs and Brand Director at AniCura, Vice President Media Communications at Essity, listed on Nasdaq, Chief Marketing Officer at Apoteket AB, and VP International Affairs and Communications in the Swedish med-tech company Bactiguard.

Maria Rosén Klement is a dedicated founder and inventor of Paindrainer.
Maria has research experience in immunology, lipid biochemistry, and protein fold prediction from Stockholm University and Karolinska Institutet. Maria lives with chronic pain and got the idea for Paindrainer after struggling to adapt to life changes following an injury and meeting others who face similar challenges living with persistent pain.
Maria holds a BSc in Biochemistry, an MSc in Molecular Biology from Umeå University, and a PhD in Biochemistry from Stockholm University.

Mattias Ohlsson is a professor at the department of Astronomy and Theoretical Physics, Lund University. He is also a professor of Information Technology at Halmstad University. His research interests focus on AI and machine learning and its applications within the healthcare sector. Mattias has previous experience in developing AI based medical devices such as some of the products manufactured by Exini Diagnostics AB.
Per Antonsson has a PhD in Medical Science and holds a bachelor'sdegree in Analytical Chemistry and Biochemistry from Lund University. As Investment Manager at Almi Invest, Per has long experience of business development and investment in start-up companies, particularly in life science. He has had several positions in pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
Peter Benson led the formation of Sunstone Life Science Ventures and served as its Managing Partner from 2007-2019. In addition, Peter Benson has extensive experience from the Global Life Science industry as an investor, founder, board member and senior executive, including 10 listed companies. Previous positions include Head of Life Science Ventures at Vækstfonden (the Danish Growth Fund), President of the Hospital Care Division and Senior Vice President at Pharmacia AB as well as Executive Vice President Marketing & Sales at Kabi Pharmacia Parenterals.
Philip Siberg is a serial entrepreneur in the Life Science industry, M&A advisor, and has a background in venture capital industry. He has a MSc. in Engineering and Industrial Economics from the Royal Institute ofEngineering (KTH) in Stockholm. Philip Siberg has extensive international experience previously residing and working several times in the US and in the UK. He hasled 2x companies to Nasdaq. IPO, CEO and Chairman of public life sciencecompanies, 4x FDA 510k's cleared and raised in excess of USD 100 million intovarious ventures.

Professor Carl Borrebaeck, is a company builder who previously founded the Nasdaq listed companies Immunovia AB, Senzagen AB, BioInvent Int. AB, and Alligator BioScience AB.
Carl Borrebaeck has several awards, such as Akzo Nobel's Science Prize (2009); Royal Engineering Academy Gold Medal (2012), and he was appointed the Biotech Builder of the year 2017 for his entrepreneurship. He is the Director of CREATE Health Strategic Center for Translational Cancer Research, a permanent member of the Royal Academy of Engineering Sciences, and former vice president of Lund University. Carl Borrebaeck is also the Founding Mentor for Nordic Mentor Network for Entrepreneurship (NOME).
