He previously worked at Oil, Gas, & Petrochem Equipment magazine, OGPE.com, and Equip-Alert e-Newsletter, PennWell brands, for 46 years in various roles including: associate editor, managing editor, editor in chief, and publisher. A native Oklahoman and Tulsan, J.B. graduated from The University of Tulsa with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Journalism.

These responsibilities include budget development, design and execution of all sales and marketing functions including strategy design, market penetration, new product introduction, brochures, trade shows, public relations, advertising, sales meetings, seminars, conferences, etc. He has a BBA Degree majoring in Marketing from Sam Houston State University.
