ORDER OF MALTA PILGRIMAGE FOUNDATION

The Principal purpose of the Order of Malta Pilgrimage Foundation is to promote, fund, sponsor or coordinate programs and activities to cover the costs and expenses of Malades (sick, handicapped, wounded and otherwise deprived individuals) and their Caregivers so they can attend the annual Lourdes Pilgrimage in France or any other religious pilgrimages to locations of importance to members of the Roman Catholic Church (collectively, "Pilgrimages") anywhere in the world, including without limitation Pilgrimages sponsored by the Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of St. John of Jerusalem of Rhodes and of Malta, American Association ("American Association") or any other religious or charitable organization which is affiliated with the Roman Catholic Church and the Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of St. John of Jerusalem of Rhodes and of Malta and is recognized as an organization described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Code.
