Agatha Sacks

Agatha Sacks is a Masters level clinician who works with individuals with substance use disorders Agatha believes that addiction is a symptom of a greater issue, and with proper guidance and treatment, clients can learn to live sober lives and mend damaged family dynamics. Agatha has 12 years experience working with adults, children, and families who have been impacted by substance use disorders. Agatha has worked with the Texas Department of Family & Protective Services, Montgomery County Probation, and has spent the last 5 years specializing in Outpatient treatment services. Agatha is a certified Positive Recovery provider and State Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. Agatha holds a Master of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix and completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with Sam Houston State University and is a proud member of the SHSU Alumni.

Beth Welka

Beth Welka is the Program Coordinator and Primary Counselor at Positive Recovery Centers Northwest office. Beth has been working in the field of counseling since 2016. Beth holds a degree in Mental Health Services and Counseling Psychology from San Jacinto College, her prior work experience includes family intervention, relapse prevention education, and 12 step programs. Beth is a recovering alcoholic and addict herself and has been an active member of the recovery community since 2009. Beth is a dynamic speaker with a sense of humor and commitment to helping others achieve long term sobriety. Beth works diligently to help families heal together. Serving on multiple boards and committees dedicated to helping recovering addicts in her community her passion for recovery is evident.

Kevin has held a variety of positions in the field, with the last 5 focusing on counseling and training other counselors; his prior work experience includes family intervention, relapse prevention education, and 12 step programs. Kevin is a recovering alcoholic and addict himself and has been an active member of the recovery community since 2002. Kevin is a dynamic speaker with a sense of humor and commitment to helping others achieve long term sobriety. Kevin has passion to help families heal together. Serving on multiple boards and committees dedicated to helping recovering addicts in his community his experience and dedication to recovery is evident.

He holds a bachelor's degree in Human Services from Southern New Hampshire University and a Master's degree in Human and Health Services Administration from the University of Oklahoma. Originally from NW Oklahoma. Trevor's deep passion for Sooner football and golf is second only to his love for his wife, Lauren, and son, Graham. Over the last 6 years, Trevor has worked in Behavioral Health in various capacities. His primary passion lies in assisting individuals on their journey to sobriety and helping them achieve their personal goals. As a clinician, Trevor possesses a versatile skill set, enabling him to utilize various therapeutic modalities to ensure his clients achieve the best possible results. Furthermore, as a leader, Trevor is dedicated to promoting organizational growth while fostering a psychologically safe workplace environment that supports employee retention. His background and expertise make him a valuable asset in the field of Behavioral Health.
