Andrew Palacios is the newest member of the team. He is an undergraduate junior at Columbia University majoring in chemical engineering on a premedical track. Andrew currently works as research assistant in the Ciccia Lab at the Irving Cancer Research Center. Andrew has recently obtained his instructor credentials to teach the BCLS course.
Gonzalo J. Londono is presently working in law enforcement in the New York City Metro Area. Gonzalo has over 25 years of experience in law enforcement, previously working for the NYPD and as a New York State Corrections Officer. He served in the United States Army as a Nuclear Biological Chemical Warfare specialist. Gonzalo is part of RAS Emergency Management Team and is an instructor for the BCLS and the Active Shooter and Medical Emergency Preparedness Course.
Greg Palacios is the founder and President of Rescue Awareness Solutions (RAS) Training and Consultants. RAS offers courses in Active Shooter Medical Emergency Preparedness, Medical Professional Certifications, BCLS/ACLS/PALS, and Emergency Management. He has over 25+ years of experience as a paramedic and worked as an operational manager in New York City 911 system. Greg utilizes his vast experience as an instructor at Maimonides Medical Center, located in Brooklyn, NY, to teach hospital staff BCLS/ACLS/PALS courses. Greg is also an avid motorcycle rider, and instructs for the Motorcycle Safety Foundation as a Rider Coach.
Joyce Palacios has been a respiratory therapist for over 25 years at various NYC hospitals. She is an instructor for the BCLS/ACLS/PALS and Advanced Airways Ventilator Courses.
Michael A. Tshulos is the co-owner of Rescue Awareness Solutions (RAS) Training and Consultants and is the President of its Emergency Management and Continuity of Operations Team. He holds an MPA in Emergency Management and Disaster Preparedness from Metropolitan College of New York. Michael has over 27 years of experience in prehospital care, and over 20 years of experience as a paramedic in New York City 911 system. Michael is an instructor for BCLS/ACLS/PALS courses.
Thomas C. Peterman, Esq. is a retired FDNY captain with over 20 years of experience in New York City Fire Department and is a New York State Fire Instructor Status. Thomas is part of RAS Emergency Management Team and is an instructor for BCLS and the Active Shooter and Medical Emergency Preparedness Course.
Thomas Hourican is a retired NYPD Emergency Services Unit Detective with over 23 years of experience. He has 20+ years of experience in prehospital care and is a certified New York State Police Instructor. Thomas is the lead instructor in the Active Shooter Medical Emergency Preparedness Course and is a member of the Emergency Management Team. Thomas is an instructor for BCLS/ACLS/PALS courses.
