Capital projects can be an enormous challenge for organisations. They require their leaders to take on new responsibilities at a time when they are already working to capacity. They also involve developing expertise in entirely different areas, and working closely with experts in very different disciplines. When I was at the Theatres Trust I developed and led a series of workshops which took this into account and aimed to give theatre leaders some knowledge of the process in advance... I can provide additional capacity during this crucial period, bringing together my experience and understanding of capital projects with my understanding of building and organisational management.
