We chose elephants as our symbol for the restaurant, because in Thailand the people believe they bring good luck and prosperity. Which exactly what we want for people to have when they enter our restaurant and enjoy our food, once again good luck and prosperity. So, come on already! We hope to see you soon at Sawasdee Thai Cuisine!... Welcome to Sawasdee Thai Cuisine, where you can experience the taste of Thailand through our food. My name is Apinya Bangching. I'm from Chiang Mai northern part of Thailand, and with the Co-owner of Sawasdee, Stephen Salvator, we try to bring authentic Thai Cuisine here in Hershey. We used to work together in the restaurant business for many years, before we finally decided to realize our dream to open our own Restaurant Here At Hersey. We picked Sawasdee which means hello in Thailand language as the proper name of our restaurant, because we want to express our excitement just to be here by saying Sawasdee Hershey!
