Barbara Marshall - CHRO

Barbara Marshall is a solution-focused human resources professional with over 30 years of experience in the field. She has worked in several different HR capacities in a variety of industries including over 20 years in the healthcare industry. Barbara possesses experience in the areas of employee relations, conflict resolution, employee engagement, talent management, benefits and compensation administration, organizational design and risk/compliance management. Smartlink is her third venture with a start-up company. Prior to her position at Smartlink, Barbara was employed at Cardinal Innovations Healthcare Solutions where she and her HR Business Partners team played an integral role in two successful acquisitions/mergers which resulted in a 200% growth in the number of employees within a two- year period. Throughout her career, Barbara has led numerous HR initiatives constantly seeking ways to improve the company's bottom line and staff morale. She also serves as a mentor to others who have selected the HR field as their career. Barbara has a B.S. degree from South Carolina State University in Business Administration. She maintains certifications as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a Senior Certified Professional (SCP).

Chris Skowronek

Mr. Skowronek serves as the Vice President of Market Operations at Lumeris. Previous to this position, he was the Senior Vice President for the North Carolina Hospital Association, where he managed business development enterprise wide as well as health system transition to value based payment systems and improvements in care coordination and system operations. Mr. Skowronek is credentialed with a Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an AB in Economics from Harvard University.

Clarence Kwan

Mr. Kwan has over 39 years of financial advisory and management experience in the U.S., China and Eastern Europe. Since the mid-1980's, he has been advising U.S., Chinese, and other global companies on cross-border investment, including mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, and greenfield projects. From 1978 to 2012, Clarence held a number of national and international leadership roles in Deloitte - National Managing Partner of the U.S. Chinese Services Group, Deputy CEO of Deloitte China, and a founding partner of Deloitte Czech Republic. Clarence is also actively involved in community and professional organizations. He was the past chair of the Committee of 100 and a director of China Overseas Exchange Association. He was also the founding chair of the China Committee of U.S. Council for International Business, and the China Task Force of Business & Industry Advisory Committee to the OECD. From 2004 to 2006, he was a senior advisor to the China Association of Chief Financial Officers.

Dr. Alex Tse

Dr. Alex Tse is a primary care provider with over 40 years of experience in primary care practice. He is board certified by the American Board of Obesity Medicine and experienced in chronic care management, especially obesity, diabetes, and its complications. He's also an active member of the Obesity Medical Association, the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, American Medical Association, NC Medical Society, NC Pediatric Society, and an expert medical case reviewer for the NC Center for Medical Excellence. Dr. Tse is a graduate of the University of Hong Kong Medical School and had his residency and fellowship training at the New Jersey Medical College of Medicine & Dentistry, Department of Allergy and Immunology, and Children's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.

Mr. Jenkins holds his MBA from Duke University and a degree in Business Finance & Political Science from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business.

Meet Greg

As a SVP of Operations with Allscripts Healthcare, Greg was responsible for product development, services, support, strategic planning, and overall P&L of the Allscripts ED business unit, focused on product excellence, customer satisfaction and profitability of Allscripts ED, a leading Emergency Department Information System (EDIS). As VP of Client Services with A4 Health Systems, Greg led the department through transitions in its product portfolio, refocusing and building services and support for a fledging EDIS system that achieved #1 KLAS rankings in key service and support areas and became a market leader. Prior to his years in healthcare IT leadership, Greg developed financial and analytical models in support of development projects for US and global clients, and led various software product and solutions projects as Project Manager and Technical Director. Greg has a Bachelors in Engineering from Georgia Tech, a Masters in Operations Research from UC Berkeley, and holds a certification as a Six Sigma Black Belt.

Michael Raymer

He received numerous awards including a 1998 Entrepreneur of the Year Award (from Ernst & Young, USA Today and NASDAQ), two consecutive Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 500 awards, a 1998 National HOT 100 Company (from Dun & Bradstreet Entrepreneur Magazine), Industry Week Technology of the Year Award (25 Best Invention Worldwide), Automotive News magazine PACE Award (8 Best Automotive Invention Worldwide), and a ranking as the 178th fastest-growing technology company in U.S. and Canada. Thomas Maynor

Maynor has also lead the development and implementation of the clinical, medical, QC/QA and outreach protocols, policies and procedures for the health centers.
