Rochelle Sharpe

Rochelle Sharpe is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist with more than 30 years of experience. She now works as a freelance writer and writing coach, and she's led narrative writing workshops at several leading corporations, including a Fortune 500 company, Takeda Pharmaceuticals International, AIR Worldwide, and Intelsat. She's created seminars for educational institutions, including the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science, and taught at many data storytelling workshops at Boston University. Sharpe worked as a staff reporter for The Wall Street Journal, Business Week and USA Today. For 13 years, she was based in Washington, D.C., writing extensively about health, labor, and various social issues. She also has worked as a journalism professor and helped create an investigative reporting workshop for high school students at Boston University. Rochelle's freelance work has appeared in a wide variety of publications, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, and Politico. Born and raised in Gary, Indiana, Rochelle graduated with honors from Yale University with a degree in psychology. She lives in Brookline, Ma., with her husband and two daughters.
