Ashley began her law career in the courtroom. Spending years litigating criminal, civil and family law matters in court made her realize that often the best course for her clients is to settle their legal issues outside of the courtroom. In her experience, the best results happen when the client has the power to decide what happens in his or her case. She believes that the client is the best expert to decide his or her future, if at all possible, not the judge that will be making decisions if the case is litigated in the courtroom. Ashley is a member of the Family Law Section of the Louisville Bar Association and a certificant of the specialized Divorce Mediation Training program of the Northwestern University School of Professional Studies, approved by the Association for Conflict Resolution - Family Section.
