Mr S.E. Lai

Mr. SE LAI has more than twenty years of comprehensive and intense experience in the Public Accountancy Profession, specialising in corporate audits, corporate taxation, corporate finance and business advisory, and insolvency and receiverships in the first half of his career with international accounting firms in Malaysia and Singapore. He earned his professional spurs with international accounting firms in Malaysia and Singapore, before returning to Johor Bahru, Malaysia in the Year 1993 to establish his own practice. An established firm in Johor Bahru, SE LAI's practice provides core services such as corporate audits, corporate taxation, and business advisory services. Mr. Chow Kee Kan

Mr. Chow Kee Kan is an approved auditor and chartered accountant, started his own practice in 1984 after ten years of working experience. In total, he has more than 30 years practical experience in accounting, taxation and corporate management consultancy. Mr Chow is well known in his lecturing (since 1980) in courses conducted by colleges, universities and training institutions. At present, he is a council member (ex-vice president/secretary) of Malaysian Institute of Taxation (MIT) and a Trustee of the Malaysian Accountancy Research and Education Foundation (MAREF). He is also an Independent Director of two main board public listed companies. He has more than twenty years lecturing experience in professional examinations in accounting and taxation subjects at all levels in Australia, UK, and USA. He has also conducted courses for Malaysian Taxation papers of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (ACCA), Chartered Financial Practitioners (Ch.FP), Chartered Financial Planning (CFP) and Registered Financial Planners (RFP).

Prof. Jeyapalan Kasipillai

Jeyapalan Kasipillai is a Professor and Chair of Malaysian Business at Monash University Sunway campus and in 2007, he was appointed as Deputy Head of its School of Business. He completed his doctoral thesis at the University of New England, Australia and masters degree at the University of Stirling, Scotland. Jeyapalan is a fellow member of both the Malaysian Institute of Taxation and the UK Chartered Institute of Secretaries. After graduating from University of Malaya in 1974, he joined the New Straits Times Group as a Journalist and later served the Inland Revenue Board for 15 years. He held the post of Assistant Director (Tax Investigations), prior to joining University Utara Malaysia as a lecturer in 1991. Jeyapalan is a Council Member of the Malaysian Institute of Taxation and is Chairman of its examination committee. Amongst others, he serves as a member of the Editorial Committees of Tax Guardian, e-Journal of Tax Research, Australia and was appointed by Tax Notes International, USA in 2004 to be its official correspondent for Malaysia. In August 2008, Jeyapalan was conferred the Monash Pro-Vice Chancellor Award for excellence in research.

Richard Chong Teck Ho

Mr. Richard Chong Teck Ho is a law graduate (LL.B (UK)) who started his career as a tax practitioner in 1993 and has been active since. He is an associate member of the Malaysian Institute of Taxation (ATII) and the Institute of Commercial and Industrial Accountants, Malaysia (ACIA). His hands on approach in delivering materials coupled with his background in revenue law has made him an integral part of his clients' daily operations in both management and financial decision making process.
