No. The Urban Winery is an independent, family run winery. The word "Urban" refers to the location, not out in the countryside as many wineries are, and has become very popular in other business names as well... Yes. The Urban Winery's main focus is on wine and we carry over 30 wines that we produce here at the winery. We also carry a number of other Maryland wineries and an eclectic assortment of international wines but if you are feeling like drinking something else this evening there are other options. We also feature Maryland craft brews and local distillery products in our tasting room and in the wine shop. You won't find any international mass produced brands here though and we do not offer traditional bar style cocktail service in our tasting room... The Urban Winery in Silver Spring, Maryland is located inside the DC Capital Beltway and was the first winery in our region in an urban environment. We offer over 30 wines produced on-site as well as a selection of other hand..
