Andrew Thomas, CPA, CFP® is a founding co-partner of Thomas Financial Advisors LLC. Prior to his co-founding Thomas Financial Advisors LLC he was a Senior Associate with the CPA firm EKS&H, specializing in audit and consulting services primarily for the oil and gas industry. Andy served in increasing roles as Associate and Senior Associate with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP from 2004 through 2007 specializing in the financial services and oil and gas industries. Andy received his B.S. and M.S. in Accounting from the University of Colorado and is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Colorado.

Jay Hartley, CPA, JD, MAFM is a partner of Thomas Tax Advisors LLC. Jay joined the firm as a partner in September of 2014. Prior to joining Thomas Tax Advisors LLC, Jay was a Staff Accountant for Olson, Reyes & Sauerwein LLC in Denver, Colorado. Before obtaining his Masters of Accounting & Financial Management in 2012 from Keller Graduate School of Management, Jay served as a Corporate Associate working on mergers & acquisitions and securities matters for Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP in New York and Pepper Hamilton LLP in Philadelphia. Jay received his law degree from Columbia University in 2000.

Patrick Thomas, CPA, CFP®, is a founding co-partner of Thomas Financial Advisors LLC. Prior to his co-founding Thomas Financial Advisors LLC he was a partner with the CPA firm Olson, Reyes, and Sauerwein LLC in Denver, Colorado and an Investment Advisor Representative with Simon Davis Asset Management Inc. Patrick served in increasing roles as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and President from 1998 to 2009 for Macrosystem US, Inc., the wholly owned US subsidiary of Macrosystem Digital Video AG in Germany, where he also served on the International Board of Directors from 2000 to 2003. Patrick held increasing roles as Chief Financial Officer, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Sweetwater, Inc., a $12 million publicly traded water purification research and manufacturing company from 1994 to 2000. Patrick also served as President and Managing Member of Total Beverage LLC, a private limited liability company specializing in retail beverage sales, between 1998 and 2003. Patrick was Chief Financial Officer for Bird Medical Technologies, Inc., a $50 million publicly traded medical products manufacturer, from 1990 to 1993. From 1993 to 1994 he held positions as Vice President of Finance for Head Sports USA, Inc. a $50 million sporting goods manufacturer and distributor, and then Chief Accounting Officer and Controller for Synergen, Inc., a 600 employee publicly traded biotechnology pharmaceutical development company. Patrick also served as Chief Financial Officer and Director for LIFECARE International, Inc., a privately owned $20 million international medical products manufacturer, from 1984 to 1990. From 1976 to 1984, Pat began his career in public accounting specializing in tax. Patrick received his B.S. in Accounting from the University of Illinois in 1976, his Certified Public Accountant designation in 1977, and his Certified Financial Planner designation in 2010. He received the Key Bank-Gold Crown Foundation Volunteer of the year award in 1997 and is a member of Financial Executives International. *Thomas Financial Advisors LLC is currently eligible have an unlimited number of clients in the state of Colorado and can have up to 5 clients in each of the remaining 49 states.
