TRIM GP - Key Persons
Graduated from NUI Galway in 2004. He then completed the Western GP training programme in 2010 having also gained additional diplomas in Elderly Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaceology, Children's Health and Travel Medicine. He has spent time working in Zambia, South Sudan and Uzbekistan. He also worked throughout Ireland before joining the practice in 2015. He holds a masters in Public Health. He is a clinical tutor for medical students from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He is interested in all aspects of General Practice but particularly in men's health, chronic disease management and children's health.
Dr McEntee established the practice in Trim in 1980 He began the tradition of GP training within the practice. He has a special interest in medicine for the elderly in the community and in nursing home care. He continued to contribute to the development of general practice in Meath through service on many professional boards. Dr McEntee has now retired from practice.
She qualified as medical doctor from University College Dublin 2002. She has worked in hospitals in Ireland, Australia and the United Kingdom. She qualified as a General Practitioner in the UK. She achieved Diplomas in Child Health , Sexual Health and Reproductive Health Care . She is a GP trainer with the North East training scheme. Her special interests include sexual health , women's health and family planning.
